I have to say that namecheaps support is by far the best I've ever used. They'll fix anything through livechat without having to send in tickets and waiting for 1 or 2 days. Even if it has to do with mailing or theme issues, they'll usually fix that too.

Today I was registering a domain and I unfortunately misspelt my domain name. I noticed that only after completing the purchase and was trying to change DNS. I quickly message live support and they replaced my domain. I don't know if other registrars do this but namecheap did it and I am quite happy
I had issues with godaddy years ago. Looked to namecheap as a quick alternative while I looked for other registrars. Never left namecheap.

Switched to Namecheap 4 years back from Godaddy. No regrets. Hold 50+ domains with them. Hosting is not that good though. Should work for a small limited pages business.

Godaddy is the worst domain provider ever, they are still in business because of the auctions.Never heard about that. Try to make such a request to godaddy support
