Does anyone here use namecheap for hosting? I know tons of folks are very happy with them as a registrar. Anybody use their hosting?

    Thanks for your consideration.

Why would you use their hosting? Why not use hostgator or a company specializing in hosting, not domain registration?

Good question? I have been using justhost.com but, that isn't working out very well. So I need to switch hosting. I just wondered what people thought. I notice that their TOS says that you cannot use 25% of their CPU for more than 60 seconds.
That is way more than I had and I shouldn't have any trouble running Cron jobs.

I've used them for a few of my sites in past and can't recommend them. The service in general isn't very attractive, they don't seem to have 2/7 technical support and quite often ran into problems with their servers.

I have to add though that I still use them as my primary domain registrar and can't say a single bad word about them when it comes to domains.

So yeah, NC for domains, HG and others for hosting.

I have no idea about their hosting but have always followed the rule of thumb to never use your registrar as your host, just in case something happens and then you are completely under their power. I also have no idea if that would even be an issue with namecheap, I'm just throwing the thought out there :)

I use them for buying domains, but would not use them for hosting. Take a look at ExtraWinner's service - he know his stuff and are a good man.

Name cheap is good for domains not for hosting.
