namecheap for hosting?

Does anyone here use namecheap for hosting? I know tons of folks are very happy with them as a registrar. Anybody use their hosting?

Why would you use their hosting? Why not use hostgator or a company specializing in hosting, not domain registration?

Good question? I have been using justhost.com but, that isn't working out very well. So I need to switch hosting. I just wondered what people thought. I notice that their TOS says that you cannot use 25% of their CPU for more than 60 seconds.
That is way more than I had and I shouldn't have any trouble running Cron jobs.

I use it for niche sites. Recommended - No problems here.

I've used them for a few of my sites in past and can't recommend them. The service in general isn't very attractive, they don't seem to have 2/7 technical support and quite often ran into problems with their servers.

I have to add though that I still use them as my primary domain registrar and can't say a single bad word about them when it comes to domains.

So yeah, NC for domains, HG and others for hosting.

they are ok and i use them but indeed on shared never expect fast answers

I have no idea about their hosting but have always followed the rule of thumb to never use your registrar as your host, just in case something happens and then you are completely under their power. I also have no idea if that would even be an issue with namecheap, I'm just throwing the thought out there

I use it myself, and its the only host that has ignored complaints. Highly recommended.

I use them for buying domains, but would not use them for hosting. Take a look at ExtraWinner's service - he know his stuff and are a good man.
