Name Cheap is Scam

So many complains.. It's so hard giving paypal a document and an electric bill?

"NameCheap" not "NameAffordable&Fair"

You did agree to the terms, technically they didn't scam you.

Namecheap goes on a very small margin, so this kind of TOS tricks are predictable.
The only reason for your troubles is paypal and paypal alone.

D.

Yes, if you keep up a good relationship with Paypal, submit the documents you require, let them know the estimated amount of money you will be making and they leave you alone.

I make it a point of at least phoning Paypal once a month (I have a dedicated account section I phone) letting them know I'm happy with their service, speak about any chargebacks I might have had during the month, and just let them know what amount of business they might expect from me during the month. They then leave me alone.

Namecheap have every right to demand a fine if they receive a chargeback. It costs money every time they register a domain and then have to chase you for money when it has a chargeback against it. As others have said, it is not namecheap's fault, perhaps you did some shady things with your Paypal.

Dude their good! they are the FASTEST in getting your domain live. You need to read TOS

I think every single registrar gives you instant ownership/access to the domain right after payment. Or Am I missing something?

internet.bs for bulk domains is better. They also register the domains within a minute or so.

yup...godaddy/namecheap/internet.bs all give instant ownership

namecheap have a good service, next time you buy online read their tos first, lesson learned !

I don't believe your story. Namecheap is the best domain registrar out there.

i agree with you bez namecheap delete my four domain one domain is first in google i lose it and i try to repurchase but namecheap locked why i don't. i send email but no response what i do tell me if any way.

Sounds like your complaint should be with paypal, not namecheap.

All my domains come from namecheap and I don't any problem with them.

If you earn $180 a day from your sites but can't afford $150 to get them back then your business model is fucked before you even start.

If you don't back up your websites regularly (cpanel makes a total web backup a piece-of-piss - log on - backup - wait for email) then your clients have employed a half wit.

Scritty

Namecheap is one of the best domain registrars and hosts I've used. If you got scammed, it's only because you goofed hardcore, and that's on you.

i ws suprised at this - but i know they are a gpood company - ive been with them for ages - sorry dudely but you should have triple checked

You are not the only one who got hit by Namecheat They will strike you when you least expect. They know how to put rake in the dark so you step on it. All these beautiful comments about "Read terms and conditions" are from their employees. Yes, they are scam! 200% agree.

They are the greatest domain company out there in my opinion.
