Over the few years I have closely been observing patterns/algorithm updates.

2 years ago lots of things have changed with Google.

1st Nail on the coffin:
There were 100s of thresholds being created everyday(also sold on this forum) until 2021. Around May, 2021 there was a core update and boom methods patched(I know/use thresholds now however its hardly 5% of what used to made)

2nd Nail on the coffin:
Reviews stopped showing on Google around mid July 2021, they started to get filtered out in the 1st level and not show when posted

March 2022
Everyone in the game moved into posting via phones and the Google map app

September 2022
3 Major updates and 99% of reviews posted from Jan 2022 got removed in these 3-4 days

******
There are still some people who would say reviews never dropped for them over 4 years. Here is the catch, when its done in scale and volume they drop.

Now to post non drop reviews, one will need a proper system in place including human simulation, proxy farm, email farm, phones and a kickass code to automate all this. To do this is nearly impossible if you want to scale. Only when you scale this will you break even and start making a decent profit. You will still have to invest 10% back to test new methods.

IMO its not profitable anymore to keep selling reviews and this will only ruin the brand name. As not a lot of people still don't understand its not always just black and white. Its infinite times grey.

ps: am not selling methods, posting system so please don't DM. I am still old school so I will polity say no and not get sarcastic when you ask

pss: We personally had almost 90% drops during the September, 2022 update.

Thanks for your nice post!

Not only that 70-80% of my reviews dropped, also some KWs I rank with my main GMB listing have dropped a bit. So also of course the clicks and leads. Unfortunately. Not all but a very good piece of the cake.

I try to keep up with continuous highquality GMB posts, reviews, signals, Google stacks, etc. and hope that it will soon get better again.

If anyone has other tips to better counteract this, I am open to suggestions! :)

Thanks for the in depth read.

Bummer. That sounds bad.

Hope everything works out for you.
Thanks. I am already phasing out and moving away tbh. :)

You you can still post if you build a small system to only post on your listings. You can post on various small businesses in the area and build your reviews(will make it look natural)

Smart. I'm in the process of creating that very program now. I know I'm going to be punching myself in the face 15,000 times a day trying to do it
