And to op, disk being at 100% could be a lot of things.
Start by looking in task manager, performance monitor, check the disk tab and look at what processes are using the most disk resources.
Check event log> system as well and look for disk errors (it could be caused by bad sectors on the disk).
If that doesn’t shed any light, next step is to let us know the spec of this machine and also an idea of what you are running on it.
Disabling SuperFetch or Windows Search should do the trick. I've had the same thing happen to me on multiple computers and doing that seemed to fix the issue every time.
Run an antivirus scan if you haven't already, I've worked on similar issues on computers at my old job and a few times there was some sort of malware involved.
Maybe your pc has virus. There are some softwares hidden running. That's why your pc going slow. You should use anti-virus software for your pc
Good chance your drive is failing. Run a disk check and see if your drive is okay. If it is failing you need to replace it ASAP otherwise you will lose your data
See here on how to do it: http://www.thewindowsclub.com/disk-error-checking-windows-8
Did you upgrade from Windows 8? There is a lot chances it could be over-read on your disk. If you find a folder named "Windows Old" in the drive, that should have occupied lot space.. I had this problem once so just guessing I am not sure...
