My website's traffic From Webstories has suddenly dropped. Earlier I was getting minimum 4000 user per day from web stories & Last week my I asked my technical team to add certain categories for web stores, after they added the webstories, the next day, I observed a huge drop in the web stories traffic. Yesterday I got only 100 users from webstories. I don't know what has happened. Can anybody guide me on this?

shouldn't it be obvious that action must have been taken yesterday ? I'm not going to claim to be an expert in webstories, but you obviously state where the issue might be coming from.
I'd do a restore to a later date before it gets too , late.

Review the recent changes you made and make sure that the new categories are implemented correctly without disturbing the existing structure and also check whether the URLs are modified that might lead to traffic loss because of the previous broken links..

Its impossible to know for sure what causes this. I have one site that gets a surge in google traffic after adding new content then it drops back to the previous level.

Check if the new categories have affected the structure or URLs of your web content. Sometimes even small adjustments can ruin indexing or visibility.
