My Website's Ranking has been STUCK!

Hey guys,

Has anyone had their ranking stuck in top 30, whether your keyword is #11 or #29 and you keep building authority links with excellent content material linking back to your website but your ranking just won't move?

My website has had the same positions for the passed two months and the link building is very clean, generic 10/10 web 2.0s, press releases, guest posts, tier 2 links to web 2.0s (shortened urls) everything is done right, these methods help boost up top 30 quickly but it just won't move further than that, any advice you guys could give me?

What i could be adding the link building process, what is working for you guys?

How long does Google take to take account of your new links to rank or destroy you?

Might i add the website is two years old, so being that the domain is new is not the case..

Also i am not looking for ANSWERS or to be spoon fed, just your opinion and input.

I work with social bookmarks, web 2.0's social profiles and don't seem to have the problem but this past month ranking has been up and down like a yoyo ive had some on page 1 vanish for 2 days then come back again. It has been a little strange.

Oh man, exactly have this happening to me as well, back and forth. Extremely strange.
 
im also experiencing this, i have about 5-7 keywords bouncing between 7-12 i,ve been hitting it with pbn links, web 2.0 and as well as other kinds of links all it does is bounce around from pos 7 - 12 for the keywords. Shit is getting frustrating. I have the site setup with over 25 pages setup in a silo with 21 of the pages being content pages on my niche. Most of the links have been built to the homepage going to starting building links to each silo parent and hope that pushes me up the rankings.
 
All I'm hearing is you guys saying your stuck and not saying anything about PBNs. Every one is doing them so if you're not, chances are you're behind.

What do you mean were not saying anything about pbns, i am using pbns along with a host of other different types of links
 
Try adding more pages to your site with fresh content. It typically helps. Go back and make sure your on-site SEO is solid as well.

Expanding on this a little, add articles that actually link to the pages you want to rank. For example if you are doing "driving lessons in London" you want to write content directly about that topic and incorporate long tail keywords.

such as articles like "Tips Before Booking Driving lessons" etc.

And the last point is use PBN's, they are much more stable long term when done right.
 
Maybe those links you're adding are not powerful enough to rank you higher. Ever thought of that possibility?

Yea, this what i have done with my interlinking with longtail keywords articles linking to the money page which focuses on the top keywords i am trying to rank for. I think my problem is i havent really backlinked no other pages as the money page is the homepage.
 
Try to write more content and create internal links to the main page
I think you need to add the power of offpage section

I have also experienced this on one of my sites and what I did to get on the front page of Google is - I just continue building new tier of links(web 2.0's) pointing to that page and juicing up the existing and the new ones with GSA. You always want to consider the effort of your competition, maybe you are creating hundreds of quality links a month similar with your competitor that's why you are on the same old position on the SERPs, why not double or triple your effort and you will definitely see some great movements.

PS - always tweak your on-page, maybe you have over-optimized the page for your target keywords ^_^
 
In my option if it isn't moving upwards at all then you will have to increase the link velocity. If it is moving up and and dropping, I ,d suggest spending time on the page seo, you could be overoptimized
 
Can people stop acting like PBNs are this power house. Can't we just admit things are ever changing... Myself and others have stated the use of web 2.0 pbns social shares etc but to notice something on page 1 Vanish off serps for a day or two and then goes back onto page 1 is not normal. I create content all the time HQ content. A few months back I was number 1 - 3 for my keywords they didn't budge. It just seems like google maybe moving towards something different. Look you say look at your competition... then explain to me why a text full site still ranks in the top 10 for keywords considering google doesn't approve of this.
 
I really think google has made some changes to how they consider sites on the front page now, I think things like ctr, bounce rates and dwell time play a major role in moving up on page one.

I set my site up in ctr click exchange and now all those keywords along with about 10 others are all on page 1 one now with the highest sitting at pos 6. And this is just from one day of using this ctr service.

Looks like google's rankbrain is anaylizing much more than just backlinks when you reach the first page. Going to do some more testing on this.
 
Your Links Need age. Keep adding contents on ur site and improve internal links. + social.

and add few more PBN each week.

send back links to your posts, should fix it.
