Use the Disavow Tool. Link penalties are very common, and the only way to remove a link penalty is to remove the backlinks that caused the penalty
Hope your website is good now
it's all good now ranks are back where they should be thanks for askingHope you can get it back by any luck![]()
Just Bought an expiring domain for $50, putted it in the webmaster and it has a Manual penalty(Pure Spam). I checked it in archive and it looked clean, but now it seems weird. I requested for a review. Do you think it will really recover? Not a penalty , until it appears on manual action.
Try to reindex using webmaster tools.
You didn't receive email from Google? They send me message that I used "bot" for creating a backlinks. I tried to explain them that I used legit webpage how gives you that opportunity (creating of backlinks) but they didn't want to accept that as explanation. After, I was reading about it, and Google besides their systems will sooner or later get your site check by real human (if you are doing "scam" you will get removed from search index). Good luck anyways.I think this is not a penalty but google bugs. One of my site's homepage also disappeared from google index, but only homepage, all other pages (37k) are indexed.
