I use webshell as backlinks, i put them in the home page with nodisplay like this <a href="https://www.mysite.site/" style="display:none;">My site</a>

I think what you are trying to say is you are using backlinks from webshell and you get it from hidden backlinks display:none;
I think it's still working because some of my friends are still using this method especially for Moneysite. It all depends on the backlink quality. If the backlink are bad, don't use it.
