My website is listed as "uncategorized" on semrush

As the title already explains, my website is listed as "uncategorized" on the backlinks analytics section.

Does it really matter? Because it would really be a problem if Google wouldnt be able to categorize my website, right?

And IF IT MATTERS, how can I change it? Btw I use Shopify

It doesn’t really matter and it won’t affect your ranking in google.
Semrush isn’t part of Google, they have their own methods for analyzing websites.
 
Tags do not directly affect Google's ability to categorize and rank your site in searches.

It might be reason for that your backlinks not crawled and indexed. Check the backlink quality and resubmit it properly.
Check robot.txt file and your backlinks source credibility .
 
its nothing to worry about , google doesn't rely on semrush to categorize, google has its own algorithm to categorize things
 
In semrush look for the option to edit your project (added website) settings or the category of your business
Select the appropriate category for your website from the drop-down menu and save changes

It doesn't matter so don't worry about it. Google relies on its crawl bots not on semrush.
 
Where you able to figure this out? Im on the same boat

Not it doesn't effect the SEO efforts
 
It has nothing to do with Google. Google is not even aware of that position in semrush. So you can continue your seo without any worry.
