Hi all,

Yesterday, my website stayed at #89. I decided to build some backlinks using senuke. I created a spun article with uniqueness above 40%. I posted to 18 blogs then bookmark + ping + rss. Today, the site is dropped out the SERP though still indexed.
Does that mean my linking strategy was wrong or that was google dance? My site is 1 month old and have 10 posts including privacy policy, tos....

I never ping any of my links. I find when I ping them Google finds them all way to fast. This in turn means that they then expect me to bring around the same amount of links like the last batch. More work for you that way. If G finds it on its own it could be a few each day looking more natural for a start. My test is working so far.

did you do a link wheel or you just linked to your site? google dance maybe.

I'm quite sure you are just experiencing the google dance. Google can't penalize you for offsite seo

If you continue to build links, you will get the rankings back. It happens whens you suddenly have many links in a short time and then stop building links. If you continue building links, you will get back. And, yes, I have been there, done that.

Sounds like the Google dance, should not get to worried about that.

Google has been very strange lately, most likely due to the Caffeine update, and it looks like it will stay this unpredictable. I think not pinging is good advice, I noticed my rankings have risen too when I stopped pinging my backlinks.

Dance for sure. But just to be on the safer side, go for a higher rate of uniqueness. 40% is sort of bare minimum. If you had spent maybe an hour extra, you could have done 60% uniqueness.

Use that as a bar when you spin articles further and keep building links. I think it will come back, probably at a much higher ranking that before. It should happen within a day or two I think.

Don't worry. It's a normal (temporary) process. Just keep building backlinks, so that it doesn't look like a one-time shot.

I didn't do a link wheel but a random linking like this

{#randurls[1|1|new line|mygroup]#||}

How could you achieve 60% mate? I rewrite every sentence and each has at least 4 version. My articles have around 200 words. Even The best spinner can only give the max 57%.

One more question to you guys. Does the 20 links/day pace is too fast for a 1 month site? Should I lower the speed to 10 links/day?
Thanks in advance!

I think it doesnt't matter if it's 10,20 or 50. Most important is to keep building them regularly and don't try to blast hundreds with ScrapeBox or Xrumer. I have days when I build 10 and days when I build 100 and my pages go up :D

You're in the 'box', don't sweat it. Keep building links, and while you're at it, start a few new websites.

This may not happen to you but if you hit a new site pretty hard with links, it can disappear for up to 3 months. I went through this several times and the only way to get around the problem for sure is to make sure you have a lot of sites at different stages of development.

Go for 350-500 words. I have read at a lot of places that articles with a word count of 400-450 are favored by search engines as opposed to short 200 word articles.

The more number of words will easily allow you to get a 60% uniqueness rate with the best spinner.

it's a temporary reaction google start calculate the new links google juice and once completed you get higher ranks.

Google can,I am experiencing my sites rank drop down to nowhere to be seen before it was coming on top of the search result. Will that be sandbox effect?

google rankings always fluctuate, its nothing to worry about just keep building links brother

Thanks guys, I will keep building links to the site now
Update: the site is back to its original position today.
