My Very Easy Method To Promote Clickbank Products Through The "Backdoor"

Peter this is an excellent post. Ive been meaning to go full steam ahead on CB campaign. As another posted mentioned I was wondering if I should go the review site route or squeeze page. After going through numerous courses recommending squeeze page route, this post has confirmed it for me.

I would just like to break this down a little to ensure I have every step and nothing is left out.

The first email after they optin is the default confirm subscription - I take it you would leave this as default and the next email comes straight away with the download link and product push. Could you possibly give a sample email with the download link and product push.

Do you use single opt in or double. If you use double optin I have heard its best to remind them after they optin to confirm their email. How would that fit in to the process.

Its been mentioned in this thread that because your promoting a freebie you will be using low comp keywords and will have less competitionkeywords this does'nt make sense . If Im giving away a weight loss report I targeting fat people right. If I want them to buy it Im still targeting fat people. I dont see where the distinction is.

Finally would you recommend using this method for CB or CPA. Will CPA convert better?

Thanks

I'm the more ethical type of guy ..

In reality "blasting" emails one after another will soon cut your list down to "0" ...

There is nothing unethical about this if somebody signs up to your list. Yes if you drown your prospects in affiliate links your list will be cut down to 0.

However your missing one of the major fundamentals of IM and thats the relationship between you and and your buyers through your list, if you get this right then your income and your list size will increase.

If you dont think the money is in the list then you should have your head examined.

So you have to create a product, eg write an ebook or something, give it away for free, as a hook, then you can start promoting CB offers?

Hey dude, are these affiliate networks or am I missing something?

You are missing something.

You make a free offer to entice people to your list. When they sign up, instead of seeing a "thank you for subscribing" page, they are redirected straight to a clickbank product page, obviously in the same niche as the free product you are giving away.

You then send them a welcome email telling them how to download your free product, and also reminding them of the great CB product you recommend.

The coupon sites are a way of getting traffic to your freebie, in the hope that these people will sign up for the freebie, therefore be added to your list, and exposed to your clickbank link.

I just don't want to pay to aweber unless i start earning so is there any free subscription site like aweber? and where can i find some free stuff to offer to my subscribers or throw in coupon sites?

aweber has a one month trial for a dollar so go go! lol

Sounds interesting, my traffic is always the missing link though. I understand all but the coupon stuff, how do u use the coupon sites to get traffic to your freebie site?

Oh, also wanted to give an example

Lets say Im selling a click bank mucle building /fat loss prduct. I would create a free weight loss pdf, or 4 part mini course on what foods to avoid. Create a domain, like freeweightlosscourse.com, target free weight loss tips or something like that, then have the opt in go straight to the click bank sales page for the muscle/fat program and then on the email, first email would have the part 1 of report, then youc ould try to sell the cb product on email 2, email 3 part two of course, etc. Is that the sort of thing you guys are talking about? And also wanted to know where Peters CPA post was he mentioned?

thanks

Justin

Thanks for the share. That's a great idea. I bet it will also lead to longer term stability of the site in the SERPs once you get it going because you wont be targeting the keywords that are exactly related to the clickbank product your promoting.

Versus if you had a review site and got it ranked there's probably going to be some affiliate that will come behind you and fight to bump you down in the SERPs for that term.

The freebie/coupon sites get TONS of traffic from search engines. They get millions of visitors. By offering your freebies on those sites you might get visitors whenever they searched for your keywords. If they are interested, they will click on the link you placed in your freebie offer (leading to your landing/freebie sign-up page). Of course you shouldn't rely only on posting on those freebie/coupon sites, but using it as one (attractive) method in your overall traffic strategy.

there are tons of other sites like aweber. you can try mail chimp but it's only limited to 500. you have to pay after your subscribers reach 500. there's another one called easyvideoproducer. It has no subscriber limits but the features are very crappy.

you can also try autoresponders that can be installed in your own webserver but i think that kind of autoresponders are risky because your site might get banned for spam complaints.

hope that helps. :p

Just wondering if you can put Facebook fanpages linking to a Free product on these coupon sites? Can anyone let me know?

great method peter, but im having trouble thinking of some related niches, do you put a lot of research into related niches or just use something with low competition like "this game" and promote a warcraft product hoping they also play that?

It should be the same niche to make this as successful as possible. Find/create a freebie that is HIGHLY related to the product you want to promote.

Peter,

Great post. I understand where the freebie sites come in, but how does it work with the coupon sites? Would you say that the course usually is 9.99 but here is a coupon for 9.99? And then they enter it in and it ties up with aweber? Just wasn't sure how that part works.

Harry

Thanks for the info. Very good.

One important point to understand is no one is going to spoon feed you advice on how to get traffic. This is and always will be the key. No traffic = no $$$$$. You gotta pick your niche, pick your keywords, set up a site and get some traffic. How you get the traffic organic, facebook, myspace, youtube, twitter, PPC is all up to you.

That's correct. You offer them a 100% off discount. They click on the link that will direct them to your landing page (freebie sign-up page). After signing up they are added to your list.
