I recently posted a very easy method to promote CPA offers AND building targeted email lists at the same time.

But since you can use it also very successfully to promote Clickbank products, I'll post my method in a modified Clickbank version.

1. Build a landing/squeeze page where you offer an attractive freebie that is highly related to the Clickbank offer you are promoting.

2. Create your "subscribe me" web form at Aweber (or whatever company you are using) and make sure to choose the Clickbank offer page as your "thank you" page.

3. This way your prospects will be re-directed to the Clickbank offer page after hitting the "subscribe" button.

4. In my "welcome" email to the new subscribers I not only provide the download link for the freebie BUT also give it another try to get them motivated to take advantage of the CB offer.

5. In all following follow-up emails to them I promote other Clickbank offers, affiliate products from other networks and also my own products (using PLR products and products with resale rights).

6. You can either just create one landing page using your most promising keyword or create several ones and optimize them for a certain keyword.

7. Do this again for other Clickbank niches you want to promote.

8. If you create a good 'freebie' landing page you can expect high conversion ( I achieved up to 76.43% sign-ups for my offered freebies). And since these are highly targeted prospects, you get also fair conversions for the CB offer.

9. Drive targeted traffic to your landing page(s), promoting your freebie. You'll find tons of traffic tips/methods here at BHW.

The good thing about this method is that you build short term income coming from the Clickbank sales AND long term income from your email list.

I hope this will help some of you to make money. Let me know! __________________

Since you want to promote your affiliate products through the backdoor, you want to promote your freebies instead of the products themselves. So, I'll give you some good coupon/freebies sites you can use to submit your freebies to. They get tons of traffic!

Thanks for this method Peter - do most coupon sites allow you to post offers even if you are a new site member?

Learn how to make a freebie. It isn't hard, if you REALLY can't do it hiring
someone is easy enough (search for outsourcing on this forum). Comparing
the two methods Review site vs giving of freebies I think this is easier IMO:cool2:
A free report is just a glorified article so you can do it!
Good luck.

I don't quite follow. I've been building email lists using Aweber squeeze pages and promoting CB products, but I'm not sure how you promote the 'freebie offer' in all of this.

If your thank you page goes directly to the CB product, where does the free offer come into it?

Are you saying in your squeeze page you say, 'Hey sign up and get this free!', then redirect them to the CB product?

I understand the part about using the list later on to promote similar/targeted products.

Also, most things i find on CB are very high competition, so how are you getting your traffic to them? I've been using newsletters from other webmasters.

hi thanx peter.

i have a question... are you immediately sending offers after your freebie or are you giving more tips to create trust first?

i have a freebie and a sq page

my first welcome email is my review to the product that i am promoting

then next day i give a personal message

then third - sixth day i give more tips

then i give another freebie and a limited bonus (scarcity)

then more tips the next days

then last week of the month i give another offer

what do you guys think?

is it okay to blast them with more offers?

how many offers do you give every month??

thanx again peter!

The main idea is that you don't have to compete with other affiliates promoting a competitive product directly! There's no need trying to get good rankings for competitive keywords in regards to the promoted product.

It's far easier to find/create a freebie that is highly related to the topic of the product and then using low/medium competition keywords to get good rankings.

You just send your traffic to a " freebie sign-up" landing page. Please re-read my OP in regards to all following steps.

BTW, this works particularly well in niches that are not IM related.

Hope this helps.

Hi Peter2002,

Just had a quick question for ya. When you say freebie do you mean a small 10-20 page report (pdf) or do you mean a 5 part mini course? Or does it not matter as long as you have something to offer them that is free?

Sounds newbie but I cannot help which what I am :D

Thanks man

Either way will do. From my own experience, however, I'd recommend a mini course. You have more opportunities right away to (soft) pitch your affiliate product.

Do you recommend creating several landing pages on several subdomains about different niches (with the freebies)? Or are you generating a sufficient stream from 1 landing page?

1)Create a free product and promote it like crazy.
2)The visitors will come to your website to download / sign up to YOUR offer.
3)When they click on sign up, they will be redirected to the CB product page that you want to promote. You can set it up easily with aweber.
4) When they sign up, you will build a list.
5) Continue promoting the CB offer to your list and also enjoy the extra comissions from redirects.
6) Since you will be promoting your own free offer, you won't have lots of kw competition.

That's what the OP is trying to explain.
