Hello,

I have 10 micro niche sites that are all on the first page for their keywords and I've recently dove into the xrumer blast pool trying to get a bit higher of rank easily, which actually worked, my sites moved up a few places in rank.

Now though, they are all starting to come back down, fairly quick. Is this to be expected with such services as xrumer blasts? If so, what is suggested to remedy this?

Thanks,
Ducky

Your prob just dancing since you did a fresh blast you'll settle in a week or two.

Are they going down to below where they were before, or just going down to the same spots or even slightly higher?

If your sites are new for less than three months old, is google dance and wait a few weeks.

There is sometime dancing down of PR happened; if it goes down and down and exist for several days; then may be your competitors are working much. so, without wasting time start your work again of getting PR back.

For myself I bought a 10k blast directed at money site. I looked on majestic and it showed 1423 or so links.

I then signed up to get more info and of those 1423 it said about 633 had been deleted so seems like most of the xrumers were a waste of time.

I spose some would stick. I'm debating doing a few more myself, either that or buying more AA lists for SB.

Xrumer blasts work but: Will not last too long because links will get deleted and filtered by google.

I still use for all my sites but i saw recently most of my keywords with profile drop so i not use as main method anymore.

Just keep building links.

Also better to create Web 2.0s pages and then blast those to pass the link juice. :)

You want to build a variety of backlinks to those sites in order to keep and get a better ranking. Article backlinks, .Edu backlinks, Forum profiles, forum posts, blog posts, micro blog posts, doc share sites, etc, etc, etc.

Ok, will do ty.

They are going back down but they haven't reached their bottom point yet, so I'm not sure. I'll post back here if they do.

I see, that makes sense. I doubt all of my competitors all the sudden started backlinking though :D - it is possible I suppose.

I got my sites to rank by posting backlinks manually on high PR sites. Also submitting articles manually. I just thought using xrummer would push me a bit higher in rankings, which it did - but the decline has started. I'll wait for a few weeks like suggested and post and update.

Ty, I'll try that as well.

Thanks, this is what I've been doing in order to get the rank I have, but I've been doing it all manually.

Nothing wrong with doing your backlinking manually a lot of people do that... I know it might be tedious but I would believe that if you continue as you have been your sites will come back.

I am sure it would not hurt to have additional content added to your sites either.

You can try to add internal links with keywords related to your main keywords from the adwords keyword tool!

Hello again,

I'm giving this thread a bump. a few of my sites (new sites) are still declining in rank. They are now on the 4th - 5th page. Like I said, it wasn't all the sudden, it's been a steady decline from the first page.

I got a few answers that say, it's google dance and give it a few weeks to settle, but if it settles anywhere around 4th / 5th page for my exact keywords, those sites are in trouble.

Rankings will fluctuate greatly after a Xrumer blast, especially if its not a well established domain (high PR, tons of backlinks)

You'll need to continue building links to your site. Don't just nail the homepage either. I've had the most success with my micro niche sites when I've delegated atleast 5-10 internal pages with supporting keywords and thus built links to those as well. That helps diversify the incoming anchor text, and helps pass pagerank and linkjuice around the website efficiently.

Are you building links to pages outside of just your homepage? Are you diversifying keywords on linkbuilding?

Superlinks,

I've done a lot of link building manually - I've linked both my home page and internal pages with different same niche keywords. Though with the xrumer blast(s) it was only a couple thousand high PR links (PR8 - PR3) and it was all keywords that are only on the home page of my site(s).

Thank you for the response,
Ducky

There was a thread on BHW about it and I noticed the same thing a few nights ago. Google did another major update with all of my sites and actually moved 90% of them back to where they used to be. I guess some people had to move down because of that.

But just take that into consideration. Google did just do some crazy stuff in the past couple of days so don't lose hope in your link building because of that.

No problem man, BHW is a great resource for SEO info.

Just begin to backlink your interior pages as well, its not natural when all of the links only go to the homepage of a website. Its also not a good sign of an authoritative site if only the homepage gets links.

When I was referring to high PR, I was referring to the actual page having PageRank and not just the domain having PR. A domain that has PR is good, but its best if you can get links on actual pages with PR as well.
