My Site sandboxed:( Now what?

I had a micro niche site on a brand new domain that was ranking on the first page of Google (#3 spot) for my key term.

The only backlinks were a few articles submitted on AMR.

I decided to try and move to the #1 spot, so I bought a link service on here that gave me 18,500 backlinks. I realize this was a stupid move with a new domain, I guess I just wanted the easy way out:/

So what should I do now? I read on here that sometimes Google moves you down for a few days but then puts you back up, is this true? (I am now on page 6 for my key term).

Should I keep building backlinks? THanks for any help.

always keep building backlinks....it may be a google dance or google may have thrown u into supplemental hell which will take 2 month + to get out
 
Doesn't sound like your sandboxed just the google dance keep building backlinks and you will come through it.
 
why do people assume that once they reach a spot in the SERPs that they'll never go down?
 
Man, sandbox is then you gone from search results, you are still there just in lower position.
 
I have a site which has been sandboxed for over a year. True sandbox is hard to get out of. Many people speak of it as if they had first-hand knowledge of it, but few do. If you are truly sandboxed, then good luck.

I have 8 sites at #1, and even I can't figure out how to get a site out of the sandbox.
 
it all depends if your sandbox is automatic or manually applied. automatic sandboxes are based on google's algorithm, and all you have to do is stop doing the bad things you're doing, and you'll get out in a few months. if it was a manual penalty, chances are you're not getting out, but submitting a reconsider request is a good start after getting rid of bad links, BH tricks, etc.
 
YES! Keep building DOUBLE YOUR EFFORT!! If one night you have 230 backlinks and then that weekend you have 20k you better have 15-20k each week so it looks natural. Sandboxing is BS You get sandboxed for running unethical scripts and coding you don't get boxed for unethical backlinking... HEHEH You get demoted and sometimes short term outkasting but just until they know where to put you. If your sporadic you will be treated sporadic if your steady with your linking you will be treated that way. GL
 
Ive told to build more links but try pushing only high quality links over the next 2 months and see if that makes a difference and than get back to us.
 
Just keep on doing your backlinks etc. There is no secret sauce.
 
Never stop building backlinks.. it sounds like it's just dancing a little! Carry on doing what you are doing, and don't worry .. IF your rankings don't come back within a couple weeks, then, well .. start worrying! :D

Hmm, It could be a very popular viral site or a spam site. Why take a risk? Let's push his site down to Page 6 and see how things develop.


My advice would be to keep building backlinks maybe a couple of hundred a day or so...something
 
Well.. If you all really believe that sandbox exist, why don't you just get 15k trash backlinks to all your competitors, they should be sandboxed too then?

Google have officially said that backlinks can NOT hurt your rankings, as it then would be possible to hurt your competitors! If you put alot of backlinks to a brand new site, it probably wont increase it's rankings at all, but it will not hurt it either, most likely it wont affect it at all..

I keep saying that to all. There is no such a thing like "sandboxed" :D

It's well known that sandbox affects most of the time young websites which are only few months old. I had few sites sandboxed, just keep doing your link building normally, it should get back in top SERP quickly. I was never in sandbox for more than a month.

You are not sandboxe.Its just google dance.Rankings will stablize after 2-3 weeks.Why did you get a blast for MNS few web2.0 social bookmarks,profiles would have been suffice.

Yes, many people say that the sandbox really does exist, but again, If it did, it would be too easy to hurt your competitors rankings - Who says that it's not just google dance, pulling your websites down, most of the times the site is back on page one within a month (like you said.)

I don't want to start a discoussion here, so lets just end it here - no one can prove if it exist or not.. But if it did I would definitly sandbox all my competitors instead of ranking my own site :D

So,to Hellohellosharp: Give it some time, keep on doing your normal linkbuilding and your site will be back soon.
