My site is down and Namecheap cant find the solution.

You should switch to a reputable managed hosting provider. Namecheap isn't very responsive when it comes to resolving hosting issues.

I dont think what you said is true. I have been using Namecheap for more than 7 years now, there are only a few that have better customer support.

In my case, it was different. They kept transferring me from one support team to another, similar to what the OP experienced, until I finally found a solution myself.

Some months ago they messed up with my domain DNS registration...they said that it's a registrar error.

They resolved the problem and gave me 1 year of domain registration for free...my losses were more than the free year.

Everyone is leaving the chat, and a new person keeps appearing. this is so strange and unprofessional.

Different strokes for different folks. I believe same happens with other hosts

Purchase a VPS. Root access. You will get it in 20$ (4GB RAM). Namecheap is good for Domain name. Not For Hosting
I have been using namecheap vpses for over a year. Not a single problem till date.

You are right about using vps nevertheless. It solves 99% of the hosting hassles. I recommend using a vps too instead of shared hosting.

By simply changing the hosting , was you issue resolved?

I'm with Namecheap since 2008, never experience such a bad service as i experience in the last couple of months. When you chat with the agents, like you are chatting with bots. They wanish from the chat without announcing, they just transfering you with someone else, and the issues are getting more often day by day. The worst service ever...

Noticed that my site is down from morning and I immediately contacted them. But its been 3 hours and till now they cant identify the issue or a solution.

Will add 3 hours of chat transcript here shortly and you can see how technical they are...

They are so bad brother. I changed hosting long time ago. They really don't care :(

I definitely recommend using your own VPS—hiring from Digital Ocean, for example—and using a CP to control all of your websites.

I have a feeling many complaining here have wrong expectations from the hosts. You probably expect them to fix site errors don’t you? That’s not really their job. They provide you hosting space and database if you are using shared/managed hosting. They only provide you a machine if you are buying a vps/dedi. It’s upto you when it comes to maintaining your site.

So, if you installed some caching plugin tomorrow that takes up all cpu cores and ram or have some log enabled that fills your disk space up, or do do something bad with the db like spawning a new connection for each visitor and not releasing it, it is on you, not the host. I guess the support just chooses to ignore your requests because they see nothing is wrong from their side.

You can’t host a site if you don’t know how to control/upgrade/downgrade it, and you don’t have someone who does it for you. This is what real life is. AI will only take you so far lol.

Perhaps invest your time in learning how to do what I said above. Remember, we all were there some day, so don’t be afraid to learn.
