My Shopify Journey A-Z

I have been running ads throughout the day, with a daily limit of 5$ and a massive demographic, i had the conversion setting to 'add to cart" by accident, and got 19 visitors and a few cart adds for i think 1.50.

I have updated the add to "purchase" and will keep the 5$ a day budget for a day, and test out differentt settings and click baits. my click bait is f+s ad text, with just one of my product images, i might copy shading and use a clickbait image of some attractive chick.

I'm very surprised that people really pay more than 5$ for the shipping, tell us when you sold your products :)
 
Update for the past two months:

I graduated to Facebook ads sometime ago, and have seen a lot of courses and have got a lot of help.

I made a big mistake spending a lot of my time trying to polish a turd, and now i have begun looking for a winning item in various ways, and set up new campaigns (yesterday). Fastforward 22 hours:

the ad budget is a little high since i'm looking for a "winner" and i'll refrain from commenting since its day 1

i started a new niche that i am happy with, and will just have to spend time/money looking for a winner.

The pic is day one of looking for a winner, we're not making a profit but not making a loss either (items -ads - cost).

Can u please tell is more about the facebook ads. Its a thing i cant get my head around most of the time. Thanks for sharing this journey.

day 3 of testing, can't see an obvious winner atm, will wait to see day 4 and scale the better ads

Day 4 of testing products:

Out of the 10 products i have been testing, 2 seem okay. I realized that my audiences for this niche are quite specific, so i edited the placements and age/gender on all my ads, and this cuts my costs by some 60%+.

I have made new ads for the 2 okay items (can't tell if they are winners or flukers) with the new targeting and schedule for tomorrow.

I will also create ads for 8 new items, and schedule them for tomorrow.

So far, with sales and ad/item cost, we are just a little down, now we are saving 60% on ads so the next lot of tests should be decent.

So lets say I have a niche. Then I build a Shopify store around this niche and upload products from that niche, into my store right? So, for example lets say i have 60 items in my store. Do i then choose one of the items to make a free shipping campaign ?

If you want to tell me, I really like to know how to use facebook ads the good way. I know a few things about it, but not enough to start working with it.

Do you use the free item but pay shipping or just make a price and the shipping is free? which do you think is better?
