If he uses other link building strategies, any impact from social media will be washed away by it.

Social signals HAVE no long term impact on ranking... as such, you can use them as you please, just don't expect ranking results. It's far too exploitable for google to make it even a small portion of a site's rank
I will continue to test this of course, to see if it changes.

u should go with 50-100 quality retweets from good quality accounts which look real and have real friends ,they will do magic and u will see the max benefit.
i think the 1k-2k retweets frm fake looking accounts with zero friends those providers using r spoiling ya rank.the more and more retweets u do the more the rank will fall ,it will not get stable.If u go with small number of quality retweets then the rank will become stable and improve.

well fiverr provider cancel work order and i purchased 500 retweets from another vendor. Right now ranking is 40.

Anyone else notice that albeit this is working on some extent, it doesn't really hold up in the long run?

I was interested to jump into the same case study so I bough 3,000 re-tweets once and get retweeted dozen times (the tweet is related to trending news). I immediately get hundreds "genuine retweets" and of course numerous hits to my page.

It's interesting that at that time, lots of 'organic visitors' for high competitive keywords clicked my page and continue viral til the next day.

Those 'organic vistors' slowly disappear once the tweet no longer go viral.

Tried another 6k retweets for another page (the topic is not HOT as the first one and got no single genuine retweet), no single click, not much impact seen.

So my conclusion is, that's really important to get genuine retweets from real people, not just millions fake RTs.

Will buy RTs again for the hot topic once I got balance on fiverr and update the results here.

not so simple buy 2000 tweets with different texts i don't think someone sell it on fiverr

maybe some huge scrapebox blasts to tweets and retweets will give you some link juice. what do you guys think about it?
