Day 14 Update
Total earnings:
$100 - paypal
$491 - echeck (paypal) which will be cleared on wednesday
Total = $591
Earned $491 ($500 supposed to be but less fees) from one client.

Things I did:
1. Work hard for 1 client and it paid off.
2. Husband is working together with me to earn money from one client through SEO, writing, marketing, etc.
3. Sincerity
4. A lot of motivation

@fartikans: I don't have an article thread, I know how some BHW members can be a bit of demanding at times especially when it comes to orders. I'd like to mellow down a bit so that I can only handle work that I can handle not that I am afraid to say no.

It never ceases to get my stomach in a knot because for so many (filipina) women I know, they are the bread winners and hard workers in the family.
I wasn't born/raised in the Philippines but I am Filipina as well. It just irks me to the core when I think about it (most esp. when it appears that majority of OFWs are pinays).
Well, enough about that. ---
I do hope your husband does his part in providing for you. You seem to be working pretty darn hard in making ends meet. I'm not going to say that HE should provide for you because I believe that couples should share equal responsibilities.
Reading your thread is inspiring and in a way, I can feel your frustrations. I have to say though, that I am VERY impressed by your drive to succeed. Success only comes to those who have the stomach to go after it and conquer.
I hope you keep this thread updated as I'd be very interested in seeing how you get along.
I have plans of assembling a team of fellow pinoys/pinays for my net marketing stuff. I have been flying back and forth from Manila to my current location for my day job but since I got into this whole IM world, I decided, well, why not assemble my own team, since after all, I am Pinay and I think I can do it.
Who knows, I just might be able to work with you in the future.
I wish you all the best in your endeavors. Truly inspiring you are. Keep at it and soon, you may be hiring your own article writers to keep up with your workload ;-)

Most welcome. Not trying to be a smart a$$ but maybe you could take time to write an article for you? Like, say, maybe write posts to helium.com or perhaps AC. They do pay via performance (helium pays upfront fees + performance).
Even if it's just a few bucks or pennies, it adds up when you have lots of content. Seeing that youre great at writing then maybe it's something that would help add a few.

I am sticking to this 1 client of mine he pays well. I will make sure I am giving 110% of ability to make him happy of course have a long-term job with him. Got few other articles online ready that serves as my portfolio. But need to mellow down in writing it's draining my brain cells out

hey since you like to write why don't you try associated content i mean you can make multiple accounts if you want to publish more than 10 articles a day, if you can write quality articles i say ac is the place to go.

Sorry everyone, I was kinda busy with a lot of school work making grades etc. Now, I can go back to my thread make sure it's going to be active now.
Updates:
1. I stick to one client paying me $400 per week, it's $1,600 a month. He paid me for 3 weeks already since Feb when I started. Hopefully he will pay me for 2 weeks worth of work this week.
I work for him doing email correspondence, answering email inquiries, sending out price quotations for potential customers, link building, and SEO stuff.
I am a bit short of $400 for my target $2,000
2. I talked to my clients before and we are now having a business venture, hopefully the $400 lacking for my target will be covered.
3. I am doing part time article writing here and there.
APRIL 1, 2010

3. Do some work for my consistent client even if he does not pay me yet for 2 weeks. I know it might sound dumb our agreement is payment every week but I still believe he will pay me since he had paid me 3x already.
4. Facebook (chill out) replying messages coming from my best friend.
Hopefully I will reach $2,000 this month... crossing my fingers now.

Update:
Client who owes me $800 went on an easter holiday vacation and he is going to go back for business on the 7th... i don't know what to expect up until now he has not paid yet. he paid me for 2 weeks worth before the last one was delayed... and now 2 weeks worth of work is delayed 2 weeks already...
next week he owes me total of 1,200 already... since i have worked this week even though he has not paid me yet since I have this feeling he will still pay me...
oh well i am stuck on article writing and hopefully will get back on my feet. i earn nothing yesterday... hopefully today i will earn something...
