To much children here seeing on the comments. Don't wanna share this real info anymore. Looking for a other place to discuss this.
Come on bro don't be like that, please share!!! I am DYING to hear what a 1 post/new account at BHW has to say about Penguin 3.
Don't let the children get you down man, please drop this wisdom on us!!!
Lets talk about our feelings bro...
I don't know that this cry baby called the OP wrote, but reading the last reply, I know Matt Cutts last year said they where working on going more upstream to detect black hat linking patterns.
I also suspect the disavow files played a major role in this update. Thank you webmasters who collaborated with Google by giving them all this precious info!!! Here in Holland we call them NSB'ers. In WW II they were a Dutch sister party of the NSDAP and collaborated with the Germans by handing over the Jews for deportation.
I guess OP mistyped the title as feelings instead of findings but its a pretty lengthy post with so many correlations.
Yeah thats what I meant. If we can easily follow through a page that's spammed by GSA and after following upto 2-3 tiers, we can find the money site. Its as simple as a flick of switch to integrate it into an algorithm and I believe thats what Matt did in this update. If a site is penalized, it would show up in the WMT but not many members reported it as the case. They simply complain about losing the rankings, which basically means Google devalued those links and the link juices it passes on to the upper tiers. Without the link juice, the site will lose authority hence the rankings too.
Would this include expired domains that has a linking profile already? That can look like tier linking. How can the algo detect what is built as a tier and what is a natural follow through?
Expired domains never have spammy links and if it does, we wouldn't buy it in the first place. SB Blog comment links and xrumer profiles were targeted in the initial penguin update. This update must target all the platforms that GSA can build links on. Most of those platforms were the breeding land for the spam. Any link found on those platforms will be followed through and with the help of panda algorithm working along in the background filtering those middle tiers with spun content, this latest algorithm will easily ignore and reject all those link juices.
It basically said that if your Tier link, you're f**ked and apparently no dutch people do this kind of linking. It said some other things but it didn't make sense. Site one had a link network and site 2 didn't. Whoop di doo. Also said something about feels, but I ignored that bit.
Oh, and google collects data from people that disavow links.

If google has finally implemented an algo that will simply devalue spam links and not allow them to pass link juice then technically you should be able to resurrect one of these penguin hit sites with new, high quality links, no?
I think that would actually be a fair move on google's part. Devalue the spam but allow people to recover their sites by using quality linking strategies. It would be interesting to know if someone can recover some of their ranks by building new links or if they will have to wait until the next refresh again.

What what, tier linking doesn't work anymore? Hmm, none of my sites lost any position.
But maybe some people under tier linking understand pointing 24k Xrumer links to your money site and then point 2kk links to those 24k...
Looks like you misinterpreted the message. Its not the Tier linking but what platforms you use on your 2nd and 3rd tiers. Spammy Tier 2 and Tier 3 will ring the bell for Tier 1 and your money site as well.
