My paypal got 180 days hold

I started selling on eBay a few weeks and my volatility of transactions went a little bit high.
Paypal asked for verification so I sent a picture of my ID.
Apparently, I made the Paypal account before I was 18 and now it's on hold for 180 days and I can't touch it.
The PayPal is over 5 years old, it's all written on my information. I can provide anything.


I mainly want to be able to use it again but also to get my money back.


** I sold digital items, no one complained got plenty of positive feedbacks.

Yep me too. Nothing you can do about it, unfortunately, or to the best of my knowledge anyway.

I just made another one. Been ok so far.
 
RIP you. You can spend the money I think but you can't do anything for those 180 days, after that you can transfer the money to the bank account linked to the PayPal.
Correct me if I am wrong, this happened to me once before with a 2k$ account and I just left it to rot.
 
I literally don't accept no as an answer, I don't understand it's not like I scammed people everyone was satisfied and I paid everything. Just because the amount of transactions and dollars went higher they stop me, what the fuck is wrong with them. I also provided any kind of verification I hope to call them tomorrow and maybe convince someone to release my account.

There are services that promise you to get your money for a fee, search he marketplace

PP literally doesn't care if you say no or yes... the account is toast and you should be able to get your money in 180 days.

Many of us have been through that multiple times.

Open a new one, you can make a stealth one if you want, and move on. Otherwise you are wasting your time.
 
Dear I recently received an email from Paypal saying that I've earned a total of XX,XXX USD in my account and I'm reaching the level where they might limit my account LMAO. Then I had +1 notification there that I need to check and update if all of my info is correct, so I clicked Yes and it's all good. The next thing I did was to transfer all the money that I have there to my bank acc cuz you never now sir, they're sending scary emails.

I've heard that once it gets limited it's very hard to make them remove the limit sir, so better create a new one and forget about these funds for 180 days. You can try PMing @secondeye about limit removal tho.
 
This happened to me, they said make a new account and we will transfer the funds over. All was sorted within 2 weeks. I wish the best for you.

But yeah limit removal services exist but never tried them.
 
Well, can I create a new Paypal account with the same IP address and everything? Urgh.. they kinda destroyed my all eBay business in one moment.
I can't afford 21-days hold...

How can I make sure this won't happen again next time.

Sorry to hear that OP. As soon as you have your money, close your account and don't use them again. The more of us that do that, the more they have to change.

What other organization apart from the police or government (if you have been arrested for a crime) can just hold on to your money like that? It seems as though PP are a law unto themselves. I've had three or four accounts in the past and each time my account reached £500, they froze my it until I sent them documents proving who I was. They must do that to millions of people. Imagine the interest they make. And didn't they freeze everyone in India's accounts once? I don't understand how they get away with the shit they pull.

You can't make sure this wont happen again. PayPal gives 0 fucks for your money & that is the truth accept it or not.

If I invented a time machine, first thing I'd do is travel back in time to meet Elon Musk and kick his ass so much he forgets his name.
 
Like BassTrackerBoats said though, you are wasting your time. You can't beat them bro. Wipe your mouth and move on and take an expensive lesson with you: Don't trust Paypal.
