My Norton thinks BHW is EVILLLLLLLL, help?!

My NoScript Firefox Add-On keeps prompting me that BHW has potential cross-site-scripting (XSS) attempt. Other than that, I don't have any problem with Norton 360 v3.0. Didn't notice any warning or page block from Norton so far.

I have Norton and this has never happened to me before. it happened this morning. same HTTP Rootkit warning, same w/ no loading of the site.

EDIT: i'm also digging ur Ishkur's Guide and SBEmail bookmarks.

i also noticed that my kaspersky would send me warning everytime i open a thread.

this never happened in the past. just today.

Norton is right. I suggest you leave immediately and never come back or the consequences will be BAD!!
(you might make money)

Try Kaspersky Internet Security

or

bitdefender internet security

And see the result

Strongbad is one of the funniest guys i know.. Someone should do a video of him "making money on the internet" he would obviously be a blackhatter, hahaha

that would be absolutely hilarious. he could scam Homestar like crazy. that'd be really funny.

Good old Norton, is it just me or whenever I uninstall Norton I somehow get a lot of adware and virus' on my computer all of a sudden? A little too coincidental, but that was back in the day but I do see a similar pattern on some of my friends computers.

people What do u say About Avira.... ?
is it good...coz i Am Using Avira.... please tell me....
Thnx... :)

I use to use AVG cause it was lite on system resource.. but i actually got a virus using that.. so now I use avast.. much much better!!

Yea I found avg to be a pretty ineffective at times.

I'de recommend avast

There's nothing wrong with Norton 09, it's a very capable AV and light on resources.

However what i find most alarming out of this whole thread, is the OP has "JC Penney" bookmarked.

Lol, its just the website freeshipping.org was looking up free shipping for computer parts and stuff. I don't even shop at jcpenny so dunno where the jcpenny part came from. ;)

Any other questions?

Lmao, that is quite hilarious.

Install Revo Uninstaller. Use it to uninstall Norton. Install Avast. Install Malwarebytes. Run both scanners. Tell Avast to run a scan on boot. Double check by running in Safe Mode with Networking.

Bookmark "mojo in the morning" wtf? That a new way of saying morning wood?

Avast is simply the best anti virus I have used to date.I started with the free edition then
then I was able to graduate from free to ultra free LOL.:D
