nice setup dude however i notice that you have an amd 8 core yet in the second pic you have a intel cpu?

I had similar PC. and my pc nearly died without liquid cpu cooler

But anyway mate, nice setup, I would love to have set-up like yours.Its definitely comfortable to work with this setup isnt?

Anyway, Intel is better for normal applications while AMD is better in gaming.

Like I said I'm no expert but the i7 you posted is a quad core 3.5 but the AMD is an 8 core 3.6 for cheaper. More than twice the strength but I would love some elaboration. Regardless I have more than enough CPU power than I know what to do with .

Haha I knew someone would notice! I love the shop too they were really helpful when putting all this together and their prices are pretty good too. I could have got everything cheaper online but I couldn't stand waiting .

They all have their own uses and tasks to run. Some people are a little baffled by having so many but I need them for all my different software. I am unfortuntaely playing too many games but Diablo 3's server downtime is helping me get productive haha

Daaaamn I really like that setup. I love the mounted TV above your desk! I used to be using a Lycosa keyboard too I really liked it. My brother got the mechanical keyboard and after I tried it I couldn't stop myself from buying it . I also use a steelseries mousepad they're great for the price (I don't really feel like spending $40+ on a Razer mousepad). Nice case too!

Some people think it's "ugly" but I think it's beautiful . It's not like it needs to be aerodynamic haha. I definitely recommend the case - it's a little pricey but the cable management, cooling power and other things really make it worth it. It's really well made.

It definitely does resemble a server I think it's one of the biggest cases I've ever seen - I love it! There was one bigger at the shop it looked like a nuclear silo haha.

I have so many memories with my laptops. If you notice in the picture I have 2 Sony Vaio laptops they've stood the test of time! I just needed some more power because I felt like they were slowing me down. The older VAIO is used for stuff like torrenting and resource friendly software and the newer one (approx 2 yrs. old) is used for scrapebox, senukeX, etc. They're great laptops and I'll vouch for them any day! They've been though a lot.

Believe me I have learned my lesson haha - no more extreme BH tools from home. I only run scrapebox on slow poster, take it easy on senukeX and AVOID running Xrumer from home. I've had 2 ISP's get really upset with me for running Xrumer 24/7. I don't think I'll get in trouble for running slow poster and SenukeX moderately. I still need to purchase a dedi for Xrumer but I didn't want to let these computers go unused. I develop software so I also use them for compatibility testing. I definitely see where your coming from but I have learned to take the velocity down when using BH tools from home.

That sounds like a pretty beastly laptop! I definitely need to invest in a dedi I can't use my BH tools to their full potential from home .

Bulldozer sucks at gaming, the architecture is bleh and performance wise it's slightly worse off than the previous generation (Phenom II). At the moment the best value gaming CPU is the i5 2500/k. Anything else and you're doing some serious folding, encoding, editing, zipping or all of the above.

Your comp can do everything you need to do I'm sure. It can definitely handle games decently too!
I haven't been able to bring the CPU usage to 25% yet and I haven't noticed any problems whatsoever when playing games. It's much more power than I need unless I'm doing super high-resolution video editing which isn't my thing. I would have to forfeit a lot of power to go with Intel because of the cost but there are people on both sides of the fence regarding processors. This processor is more than powerful enough for me and didn't cost me an arm and a leg .

Absolutely. I love it! My brother has been using it for almost a year and he's the one that sold me on it. Nothing more satisfying than the sound of a mechanical keyboard click .

I think you're seeing the Intel solid state drive - It's been performing very well - my load times are phenomenal.

It's a huge upgrade from my old setup I'm just getting used to it. Seem to be working very well so far! My Noctua CPU cooler is supposedly one of the best on the market - I'm idling at like 10 degrees and I have yet to see it go anywhere dangerous yet. The case also has some great ventilation

I am definitely not someone who spends their money for goods immediately. The last thing I bought was an iMac and that serves me well.

I'm not that technical to buy all these upgrades and parts.

But I'm saving up for a nice ride soon so Il post some pics soon.
