My neighbour the thief!

Now now gentlemen! I appreciate all your help :)

Is it just me who finds this funny you are complaining about stealing in black hat forum?

Blackhat isn't stealing. You're thinking about scamming.

@OP, you can do that thing with them where they have to fill out a cpa offer in order to be able to access any website, and then limit their speed to 56kbps. Then make them fill out one offer for each 56kbps.

unplug the router from the modem, get another router and hide the ssid on it, then have a loud argument in the hallway about how you cant afford the internet anymore. or you could coat you walls, ceiling and floor with several layers of aluminum foil. seriously though put a full version of ddwrt on your router and you can make a game of it! muhahahaha

Any form of WPA is only as secure as your password, a user only needs to capture a single 'hand shake' and can then brute force crack the password even if your network is offline. I even saw an article where they used two video cards to boost up the speed to crack wpa it was pretty cool. Change your password and make it something crazy...

edit - http://hackaday.com/2011/06/01/gpu-password-cracking-made-easy/

the original site where I found out about this a few years back is i-hacked.com but they appear to be down so I cant grab that article

Lol.. i used my neighbor wifi sometimes without noticing it..
My advice is just use lan line instead of using wifi router. In that way you are the only one who can use your network. Haha

All you have to do is use WPA encryption on your router and jam on your keyboard so your password is 10+ random characters. That's all you have to do. It would take years for someone to figure out the password that long and random. Seriously why is this a discussion.

You bumped an old thread and if that wasn't enough your information is outdated. Google reaver.

Use wpa2 with a crazy complicated password. Works like a charm for me. Like stated before, if someone can figure out how to crack a wpa2 password, they probably have enough skills to make money and buy their own internet.

You are misinformed on this, with a man in the middle attack you can get ANY password no matter how long or hard you think it is to crack. Those hard passwords are only effective against the old school list brute force attacks.

I am very sure that the guy is still interested on that even after 3 years.

My bad on that 1, was very tired when I signed up and did not notice the date of post.

Better late than never eh lads :)

Ahah this reminds me when my neighbor asked my WiFi password because his connection was over the monthly limit.

I was like 'wtf dude?' And politely said no, I can't because bla bla bla.

HAHAHA! He may as well asked if he could get a quick sleep in your bed too!

Just do a man in the midle attack and replace all pictures with a few bestiality porn pictures, he will never use your wifi again.

Edit: damn it, just saw the thread creation date
