I was you I would go to router settings and change the passwords. Sorted.

If its a router like mine, change the settings from "new stations are allowed automatically" to "new stations are allowed via registration".

I had a similar thing last week when i found half dozen people using my password protected wifi. I guess the guy who got in shared it with his friends.
 
I can crack a WPA/2 encrypted router in 3-12 hours, Regardless of the password, depending on the distance from the router.

DISABLE WPS! lol That's the ONLY way to protect yourself at this point.

Not complaining, simply asking for advice. if someone hacked your money site and you was not sure what to do, would you not ask advice on here? Just saying.
 
If he hacked it, find out who it is and JV on some projects with the guy as he may have some skills and ethics isn't a problem if he's doing this.

If you bad enough go over their make em fucking stop but if you not then that plan can backfire bigtime.

make your password some weird ass password not real words. only way they can crack anything higher then a wep is thru a dictornary file and number combinations so make your password a slang of something, a special madeup word with all kinds of charcters he wont crack it.

hidding sssid wont help cause every wifi has the option to connect even if the signal is not broadcasting,
Mac wont work cause you can spoof it, and you can easily see what macs are on the network,
use wap2+tkip and use weird ass passwords and such
change your router password cause they can enter your router also if you leave the logins as default.

Are you retarded? or just can't read? PASSWORDS DON"T MATTER ANYMORE IF WPS IS ENABLED ON YOUR ROUTER... WHICH IS DEFAULT TO "ON" WITH MOST ROUTERS.... lol

Any skid with the right USB Wifi dongle can do this, it takes ZERO skills....

and while you're at it, name your ssid flowers by irene or party van or something similarly menacing
 
Change your default password which I believe is why he "guessed" it. Input the maximum number of characters that your router allows in a random order. Save your password. Reboot the router. Avoid WEP. In my experience it took me 2 minutes to "guess" a WEP pwd and I have ZERO Linux skills. Actually BT's interface is quite nice :)

Although I have cracked and stole WEP in the past, I would first double check that it's not something of yours using it. Ipad, cellphone, laptop, kindle, 3ds, printer, T.V., roku, so many things use wifi now. Ads on poorly designed android apps use huge bandwidth and kill batteries quick too.

Wireless printers take an IP address on the router. Can you see how much bandwidth the mystery IP is using?
Was your PW something easy to guess, vulnerable to a dictionary attack?

Giving a shit what you or anyone else has to say on a forum, is something I care not to do, I'm trying to help the dude out and point out the FLAW in the system, You all are giving the dude bad advice, everyone keeps screaming password, password, password, lol....

Passwords are Irrelevant anymore.... until the router manufacturers patch the security flaw in their systems, the fact of the matter is, a brute force attack even with a dictionary thats 30 gigs in size will still take weeks if not months to crack... thats even if it works at all. I know Pros who only have about a 20% success rate on a good day... Ignorance is bliss, while ya'll are changing your passwords to 32 Obscure character leves, I'm using your internet to do my biding, not to mention ratting your ass for full system control...

You're just mad cause you can't do it.
 
you can restrict computers by IP or MAC address in your router settings
to access your wifi,and your change you password everyday.
