For the person saying do "netflix" or "redbox", they don't franchise. You can get a DVD Now kiosk though. (They aren't very profitable, it's more of a tax writeoff.)

Not trying to break the idea, just think you could put that money to better use by learning some online techniques that can make just as much income, but require a lot less work. The barrier to entry is also very low, $5/m for hosting, and $10/yr for the domain. Hope that helps.

This is what I was thinking about too. To set up lots of machines take a lot more time than setting up niche websites.
