Simple concept! I have a few gigs on Fiverr.com making about $300 per month...

I am withdrawing my monthly income, and investing in gumball machines. Those machines inturn make monthly income. Each machine will average about $25 per month, some in the $100 range, some $10.....Goal by the end of next year is about 100 machines....

    100 machines x 5 vends a day x .25 each vend = $ 45,625.00 a year

Once I expand to 200 machines, your approaching 100k a year.....Plan on expanding to toys etc, they sell for .50 - $1.00 per vend.

In the US is extremely easy! Machines are less than $100 each, then you pay about $40 and have someone place it....then it's on cruise control!

good plan! But I would take the time to think of more powerful and stable investment...maybe a vending machine?? If not, a thousand bucks can get you started in many profitable online ventures...like a local website design and service business(very little competition in local markets), which you could obviously outsource for very cheap or pick up a software and start out by yourself. Remember that you have to go out and maintain the machines yourself or hire someone to do it...most businesses that will put the machine in their place won't deal with the maintenance ans such! And a tip, if you find a good location, think about investing in those 400$ machines(the amazing ones) to boost sales indefinitely.

And if you do make good money, Lending Club and prosper dot come are good places for passive income investments, diversify!

Go Redbox when you can! Giant exodus from netflix right now. I always see lines at the redbox and blockbuster machines, but my dad looked into it and it's like 15k for a machine I think.

Are these things smash proof? Would kinda suck when you place a bunch of them down and thieves steal the bubblegum and the money out of them.
Leaving you with no profit and a broken dispenser you need to pay out of own pocket for.

If you place these INSIDE of solid restaurants, lube shops, nail salons etc, likelihood of them being smashed etc is pretty low...

What is the cost of rental space in places like restaurants etc.? Also, how about the refills?

If you donate 10% to charity, it's free to place in restaurants..if they want $$, just offer them 10% instead

Gumballs cost $17.99 for about 1000 at Samsclub....once you sell those, you make like $217 per refill!

I didn't see you take into account the stocking of the machines. You said 3 cents per gumball, and reselling at 25; but what about the guy who has to go fill the machines, empty the coins, possible breaks, etc? 200 machines is going to be a ton, and assuming you can find places for all of them; doesn't seem to be the most practical. Not trying to break the idea, just think you could put that money to better use by learning some online techniques that can make just as much income, but require a lot less work. The barrier to entry is also very low, $5/m for hosting, and $10/yr for the domain. Hope that helps.

That is what wive's are for :) You only have to restock the machines once a month, unless you are lucky and get some good locations
