My Journey timeline
How I made...
$100/day [10 November 2019]
$7100/month [30 July 2020]
$19,180/month [1st December 2020]
$35,823/month [7th February 2021]
$54,000/month [6th April 2021]
$77,382/month [1st August 2021]

Sorry for the delay. I haven't posted any updates on my journey thread for the last couple of months, because, i was caught up with my work.
I crossed the mark of $75,000/month in July 2021. And have been getting a consistent profit of $40k/month for the last 3-4 months.
My learnings:
The last couple of years of making money online has helped me with self-discovery and helped me learn facts about life that i probably wouldn't have learned had I been in a 9-5 job.
1. When i was 18 years old, i used to think if i cud make $500/month i wud be happy. But then when i made that $500/month, i thought ah, if i can make $1000/month that wud make me happy.
Soon, $1000/month changed to $10,000/month
And $10,000/month changed to $50,000 and more.
I learned that happiness is a journey, not a destination. And i am sure, there might be thousands of people in this BHW forum who might be going through the same journey as me and might be thinking only if they cud make a few thousand dollars more, they wud become happier. Well, that's never going to happen. If you want to be happy, you have to fall in love with your work, journey. And earlier i used to be quite upset about this whole money thing but in the last couple of months, my perspective towards money has changed.
2. In spite of making all this money i never spent more than $500/month (on myself) because i was quite obsessed with becoming financially independent. Infact every month, i try to invest 70-80% of my savings in gold, stocks, real estate.
So, at this moment, even if i stop working and if i put all my money into investments, i can easily make $40,000-$50,000/year(without working for even a single minute). And $50,000/year is a LOT of money for someone who lives in India.
And in the last couple of months, i have been quite tempted to do that.
But then i felt... life will become quite boring if i don't work. The purpose of life if not to sit on a beach and get suntanned.
I won't lie, in the last 1 year, whenever i went on vacation or when i was chilling, i always missed my work. Not because i wanted to make money but because i enjoyed my work.
3. I had read somewhere that after you make around $75,000/year your happiness plateaus. That is, any money that you make on top of $75,000/year, has no influence on your happiness. This is true for USA, for 3rd world countries that figure might be around $15-$20k/year.
And i have seen the same phenomenon in my life. From $0-$10,000/month. I used to get up early in the morning, used to work extra hours, refresh my stats a million times a day and i used to get very excited, every time i get a conversion.
But after i started making more than $10,000/month, the urge to do all that disappeared.
At this moment money doesn't motivate me to work. I work because i like winning. And making money is just a byproduct/result of me managing to win(every time).
And i guess, this is true for almost all rich people. For someone like Elon Musk, who has $300 billion of wealth, even if he stops working, his next 7th generation can live very happily(without working). So, why is Elon still working?
Because there comes a point in life where making money doesn't motivate you anymore. You work for achieving your personal milestones or reaching certain goals that you always dreamed of (in my case reaching $100,000/month).
4. When i started my journey, I didn't work(8-9 hours a day) to buy myself a rolls Royce or an expensive watch. That was not my motivation. I worked hard to buy my freedom. With money, I bought my freedom...Freedom from mediocre life, freedom from 9 to 5 job, freedom from being a corporate slave. Because had i not worked, i wud have been doing a 9 to 5 job(right now) and i wud have been in a debt trap of a $21k college loan.
So, when people say money=freedom, this is what it means.
I started my affiliate marketing journey when i was in college and i used to have a huge FOMO when i used to see my friends enjoy (when i was working). And i am glad i focused on my work instead of enjoying. Because had i enjoyed at that time, maybe i wud have ended up doing a 9 to 5 job like my friends(right now).
5. And making money has made me a little spiritual towards god, earlier, I used to be an atheist. And i used to laugh at anyone who was devout. But now, that has changed.
My Regrets
My biggest regret is not starting early. I spent the last 6 years of my life(2015-2021) in college. And to be honest, i didn't learn anything in college, it was waste of time.
So, had i started my affiliate marketing journey in 2015, maybe i wud have been making $150-$250k/month(right now).
And maybe i wud have retired by 26 years of age. So, I regret starting 2-3 years late.
Moving Forward:
Currently, my main focus is native ads. I am able to make $50/day on native ads and if i were to make $10,000/day of $500,000/month, it's not possible to make that money using push/pop traffic. I can only make it using Facebook, native ads, tik tok ads, or google ads.
I'll post an update whenever i reach the goal of $100/day on native ads.
And i have also started investing in real estate. I bought 2 properties this year. The goal is to keep buying 2-3 properties each year. But that's possible only if i keep making money. lol.
PS:- Currently, all my marketing friends are based online. I wud love to network with someone(who is doing affiliate marketing) within my country or city.
Please don't DM me asking for that best advice or best traffic source. The answer to that is different for everyone. You have to find your own path.
Thanks for reading!
