A little about me. I'm 18 years old, I am currently off of school with plans for college unless I can make this a success. I have roughly 8 month before I would start college. If I am doing fairly decent by then I won't go. You can be successful without college. I believe I can achieve the $500/day by then. I currently have no job, I live with my parents and have money saved up from a job I had while in high school. I do some acting on the side and that brings in some cash every so often as well. I used to work for a local eCommerce store in their office/warehouse. They had a great niche and I was thinking about entering it myself but I doubt I'd be able to compete with their prices. The company has only been around for 2.5 years and brings in over $100k profit every month for the two owners. I learned a lot while I worked there and plan to use that knowledge to help me on my adventure.

The plan. I plan to start with drop shipping until I can build up a good amount of money to buy wholesale inventory. I have no niche at the moment so I will start looking for one, I am going to do something electronics though. I think I might start out with electronics as a whole while I am drop shipping and narrow it down later while I get the money to expand to wholesale. I plan to use Ebay, Amazon, and possibly Sears. I will create a website in the future when I get a brand for my company.

I'll update the post every night with my review of the day.

Keep up the work. I like the idea of dropshipping because you don't need to have website. Sometimes ebay can make you a millionaire.

eCommerce was the first industry I got into online, but it wasn't for me.

Best of luck on your journey :)

Best of luck with your journey, keep us posted! :)

Thanks for the good luck guys. I would've posted this later but I am just to excited. I was looking around Amazon and Google for items to sell and I think I found my niche. It's something that I have experience in and I actually found a drop shipper in the U.S. that ships by USPS. I was looking on Amazon for the items I'd be selling and I could compete prices, there are only a few companies I saw that sell the item.

good luck. im doing the same thing as you and i plan to sell offline now. Im in the process of searching for a reliable supplier.
I havent done much yet but one thing i would advise is if your still looking for a supplier look on pages 15+ of google. All the suppliers ive found that seem worth working with have come from deep within google. I found some suppliers on here that i thought were good but the ones in deep google are even better.

Best of luck op i will follow your journey , I am myself interested in eCommerce :p

Oh my... That's a big goal, isn't it? :)
Good plan, wish you a good luck!

Update 1/9/2014 (First Day)

I wasn't home for long today but I did get some progress done. I found two niches I am going to attack on Amazon. One niche is virtually untouched on there. I found one niche browsing Amazon along with Google, I found a supplier for it almost right away but after doing some further research I don't trust their products so I will have to research more for a supplier. The second niche I actually found while looking for a supplier for my first niche. The niche has to do with something I last did probably when I was about 6. It is a hobby tons of people near me have and I cannot believe that it isn't on Amazon. There is a store located in town just for this niche. I found a supplier for them but of course I will do some more research. I plan to have some products up by the end of tomorrow. I'm still figuring out how exactly I'm going to market at the moment. On Amazon in it not necessary but I want to start building my brand now so I can use it for expansion later.

Update 1/10/2014 (2nd Day)

Found some suppliers and started uploading product. I had a paragraph to write here but apparently the post triggered the moderation system and I'm not able to post it.

Good luck to you OP, its seems to be very tough work. But anyway for a greater success we all have to struggle a lot.

Update 1/11/2014 (3rd Day)

Alright, I fixed the issues I had with shipping and upgraded my Amazon account to professional so I won't lose my feedback in the future when I do it. I uploaded some more products. I now have the lowest priced item for seven of my products. I have to wait until Monday for one of my suppliers to get back to me though since they are a M-F business. I plan to list more product tomorrow and possibly do some more research in the niches. Next week I might have to leave for a few days to shoot a commercial so I might not be able to update here if so. That's not guaranteed at the moment though.

Update 1/13/2014 (5th Day)

Alright, I wasn't able to do anything yesterday since I wasn't home most of the day but today I did some things. I have focused on one niche for now so I can keep focused on the plan better. I found a new supplier for the niche and after getting prices and looking on Amazon I will be able to undersell the Manufacturer on Amazon. The manufacturer doesn't even have all their products listed so that'll be great. This niche will also make it easier on me, it is easier to drop ship and compete at the same time.

Good luck on your adventure. I've been trying to figure out where I want to invest some money and work towards passive income and I've been leaning towards ecommerce. I'll keep a close eye on this as I might buy some wholesale products in the next week or two.

Great. Best of luck your journey. Clear crystal plan to implement from Ecommerce Industry.
