Great idea with the bot. Hope it won't be very expensive. Ready to be beta tester :)

What about an option that sets to follow the likers of a certain account recent pics to get active users maybe set within 3-5 minutes of the post
e.g Justin bieber post a pic and it sets to follow any body whom likes the pic within a time frame

dunno if their bots that can do that but i guess its what manual people do to get active followers and it would be pretty cool to automate it :)

True.
The best way to avoid this would be to not let all acounts do stuff simultaneously...like this:
10:00 - 10:10: acc 1-10 following, acc 10-30 rest
10:10 - 10:20: acc 10-20 following, acc 1-10 and 20-30 rest
10:20 - 10:30: acc 20-30 following, acc 20-30 rest
and so on
If you only use this for following 10 minutes per hour would be more than enough. You could also scale this down to 5 min/hour so you could run 120 accounts without a problem.

I think this is worth the effort because instagram seems to tolerate a lot more when you don't use their API, don't you?


I would also like to test the beta when it gets released! :)
 
Is there a beta or rough copy that I could try... Sounds promising and really interested in ur work.. Good wishes from a fellow programmer.. Selecting the gender to follow is on of the biggest thing I've been looking for on a twitter and insta bot...!

These are great, will definitely have the option to auto block after DM.
I'll have a look at changing the hash, but right now I my bot is not ready to upload video media.

Pretending to be a real user on web interface looks way less spammy than doing your stuff thru the API.

Therefore an option to not use the API would be great, but of course it takes more time to code.

This is a great idea too.
Contrary to popular belief, instagram web browser now also uses an API (altough different from the app API).

I have programmed most features in both browser and app API, I will do a benchmark in the future and see which of the two is more secure.

I will post the results here after I have them.

Basically a new filter, that selects only most recent media/likers/followers, and a new targeting option where you target the likers of certain photos.
Sounds good, will implement soon.

Unfortunatelly I have no beta yet, and it's still going to take a while.

The version I have now was custom made for me, so I haven't included a lot of options that I didn't need for my accounts.
Plus I totally ignored the interface, and I want to launch something that looks beautiful.

My goal is to have a closed beta by the end of november.
 
How many accounts can your current version run and can we assign individual proxies for each account? If it's ok with you I'll be happy to use it now... I wanna follow only female followers in my niche...

These settings sounds like a not, that's why we randomise delays and followings via the not, so ideally its not a good solution
 
I forgot the most important option I.e ability to check all the links in the bio every hour , to see which ones have been banned. This is probably the most important feature for me.

Do you mean some kind of automated list, so when an account gets banned that link gets added to the list?
And then when you go to edit your instagram accounts' info, it shows you which links were added to that list so far.

It's coming along great, I've got it about 40% re-designed, still need to do a lot of changes to the whole server and bot though, to create all these generic filters and targeting you guys will want to use.

I'm looking at about 7 weeks worth of work before beta is 100% ready.
 
Good idea mate! I already had thought on something like this but i am too lazy for coding, so i gave it up. Good luck on this new project, i gladly will buy it in the near future!
 
Which programming language(s) are you using to make your bot?

Let me know if you need any help regarding instagram automation :) I have a very basic bot created by me using C#.
