My Jouney Into Building The #1 Instagram Bot

After several successful Internet marketing projects and countless hours of college time, studying computer science, I decided to mix both my skills!

I used Massplanner for months and I found it an hassle to manage multiple accounts.
  • Having to check computer every time, to make sure Massplanner is still running.
  • Buying new proxies for every new instagram account.
  • Planning content upload for all the accounts. (Massplanner's repost is bad)
  • Etc

Thats why during summer, I built a custom made bot that fixes all of these.

Not only it has all the features massplanner has, but it also:
  • Runs on a remote ubuntu server (like a website), so it never crashes. (Windows sux!)
  • Has a web interface, I can even check the progress from my phone.
  • It has a proxy API integrated, so whenever I add a new account, it automatically purchases and adds a new proxy to my bot.
  • The repost functionality works better, it can either fully mimic a selected account, reposting a post as soon as new media is posted, or repost only the recent posts with most likes.
  • I get a daily morning email, with charts and progress on each of accounts.

The bot is still not ready to go public, it has a few bugs that need to be fixed, and I'm working on creating the best user experience imaginable.
So I'm looking to launch an open beta in about 2 months.

I'll write updates in this thread every day so you guys can see what it is like to launch a product, from the perspective of someone who is a programmer.

Please share your feedback on any instagram bots you've used, the more problems and ideas you share the better the software will be!

I haven't thought much on the pricing yet, I want to make it a monthly fee but I don't want to neglet people with dozens of accounts.

I'll make sure to offer a huge discount for anyone who gives their feedback and ideas here though!
 
I think MP has no option to like relevant posts of someone you just followed.

Example: My page is about pets. I follow the followers of a big pets account. After the bot followed a user, it likes some 1-3 posts that has the keyword "dog", "cat", "dinosaur" etc.

Thats true.
I can also definitely see that increasing followback rate, vs the usuall liking latest 3 posts.

Will definitely add that to the bot!

one thing that instagress or mp doesn't incorporate is targeting a gender if your niche is female or male related (not sure if that's possible, just an idea). also the whole adding a new proxy + VPN is genius

Thats one of the first things I implemented in my bot!

(Using the bot, with a female only filter, on your personal account is a huge sex life hack! ahah)

I've been following a lot of accounts and liking a lot of their posts. Another thing that MP don't have is like a number of posts randomly after following a user. Because a follow then 1-3 likes of most recent post will definitely make your account look like botted.

Maybe you should make these options after following an account:
  • Like recent pics
  • Like random pics
  • Like pics that has a keyword/hashtag
 
I really like this idea! I've been looking for an awesome IG bot, this looks like it can take the cake!

I love the daily email idea, can't wait to see the finished product!

Just finished designing most of project in photoshop.

Hmm Thanks for these great idea it makes a lot of sense.. Am gonna implement these feature in my bot.
 
Ability to change video hash when posting or reposting (m.p only changes the thumbnail) so we can avoid bans via that way.

And the ability to change the md5 hash of the pic while we are uploading it as profile pic, I have to do it manually if I'm using like 5-6 common pics on 30 ACC's or so
 
Is the bot going to use the IG API? Because one of the biggest problems of MP (in my opinion) is the use of IG API.
Pretending to be a real user on web interface looks way less spammy than doing your stuff thru the API.
I grew an account by hand exactly the same way I grow other accounts using MP (following random people) and I could follow way more people even with a fresh account and did not get phone validation while accounts on MP get PV or get banned.
Therefore an option to not use the API would be great, but of course it takes more time to code.

This will take a lot of resources and you won't be able to run more than 50 ACC's even on a quad core , 8 GB ram vps.
