My Instagram Page Building Journey

Hello there OP! Goodluck on your journey.
I created one account which I plan to keep on long term so I grew it manually.

What I did was instead of following the big account followers, I follow the people who likes the picture in the account.
I find that people who like and comment the pictures followback easily than those who just follow the account. :)

Good luck man :) if you find a way to monetize IG accounts, tell that guy who bought 10k accounts without knowing what to do with them lol

For now, I still don't know how will I monetize it as I focus on building them.

But most of the guys here who have big pages are monetizing their pages by selling shoutouts, selling accounts, or even promoting their own products. There are many ways, just look at some journey threads here on BHW. :)

I'm not sure about the followback ratio I exactly get from following others. My followers/following ratio is almost 50%.
But most of my followers aren't exactly from the person I follow. I get some followers from tags in my pictures :).
I place a few hot tags on my niche in all my pictures whenever I upload them. I usually upload 3-5 pictures per day.
Maybe you could try putting some hot tags base on your niche in the pictures? :)

I always use tags on my posts. Variation of niche related tags - small to top tags. But I just use them to get botter's likes. Other than that, using these tags bring me nothing but follow of other botted accounts.

I'm talking about real followers, as they are the followers that I need.

50% is pretty good. Follow 100 / day and get 50 followers? sounds pretty awesome to me.

Not all are from my followings, some are from my picture tags :)
 
Day 4

Slowly increasing the follow count on both accounts.

Spent a lot of time messaging small niche related accounts (4-10k followers) asking if they are interested on having a group but got little to know reponse. I think they are just not interested.

If you guys know a group that's open for all, an invite would be appreciated. Or just post the link here/pm me.

Followers gained in 24 hrs:
Account #1: +80
Account #2: +187
 
Week 1

Account #1: 643 followers, 2887 following
Account #2: 1263 followers, 4290 following

I know the follow back ratio is low, but I hope it'll improve in the future.

Tried to join some engagement groups, but got no luck on gaining followers etc.

And also, my Mass Planner license will expire in 15 days so after that, I'll do everything manually because I just have no $$ to invest.

I'll just keep on doing what I do and improve so one day, these accounts would blow up.

Hey guys. Is there anyone still watching this thread? Should I keep updating this thread?

Anyway, this week has been dedicated on unfollowing.

These are the stats of my accounts:

The growth is reallyyyy slow especially when I don't follow people. I guess this is because I started everything from 0.

So after hundreds of hours researching and trying so many different things, the hard work paid off.

Everyday is just getting better and better!

I just figured out what works best with my followers.

I've changed these things:
  • Posting time
  • Changed my content a little bit
  • The time when I follow people and its source etc
After I've changed those, then boom. Hello explore page/top hashtags.
