My Infraction Experience

Ok. Thanks for that.

Tbh I'm confused with the old and new system. Don't know when what existed.

BHW switched forum platforms a little over a year ago.

You are in good shape as to warnings; just keep it that way and you'll continue to grow in the industry and we will be blessed by your sharing here on BHW.

yes, While switching to this new forum platform, I greatly Missed 2 things as follows :

1. Comic Sans MS - font style
2. Cheers icon - Smilies

Other than this - This new platform is very much Greater than Older one for me

IMO it`s not a good thing also. You can see in main thread thousands of nonsense cr*p just for some people to put their website in signature/their website. And i`m not talking about newbie threads, they are needed (i`m a newbie after all). I can`t quite find a relevant example right now but you must know what i mean
BHW is quite tolerant when it comes to punishments and you got to get on to the nerves of MODs or other members in open threads to get an infraction. Just have got one till now and that was really dumb of me to get that one after 5 long years in the forum.

Even if you read the rules, the meanings of words within the rules are being changed around all the time.

BHW is a UK based company, so one would expect that to make sure things are within the rules you could check the oxford dictionary, but that isn't the case. A few times meanings have been changed by mods and infractions or warnings or locked threads have occurred.

Are the Mod's sure that they issue infractions to keep the ship sailing in the right direction? It more seems that they issue infractions to keep the math moving.

Oh hey look, Cap's back.

BHW is also a marketing forum, so one would expect that political opinions, ideologies, and threads wouldn't be verbalized, but that isn't the case.

Maybe we need to check the Oxford Dictionary and see what they have to say.

Wow, I did not know the MODs were really active here. This one's a great tip for newbies like me. Thanks!

If i get an infrication, I just use my "aged mathew woodworm" accounts from "back in the day" and post some clever stuff about linkbuilding with GSA SER.
problem solved ;)

infriction or Infraction ?

Noun
(plural infrictions)

  1. The act of rubbing something into the skin etc.
  2. Something (such as an ointment) to be so rubbed in

It's a conspiracy I tell ya, the power has gone to all the mods heads and they won't be satisfied until all us plebs have been banned or left the forum.

Then they will have all the internetz moniez all to themselves!!

That usually relates to someone making a totally inappropriate post on a marketplace thread. For instance, let's say that someone has a marketplace thread in which they are offering their article writing service. Then someone comes along and makes a post on their thread saying that he can do the job cheaper than the OP. That would be considered as "hijacking" the thread, as well as selling his service outside of the marketplace, and he would be subject to receiving a 3-point infraction.
