My Infraction Experience

Some might realise infraction
Some Never realise it & as the result Banned!

Here's back2form Infraction Story & Experience:

First Infraction on May 15, 2013 : Its a very first time! I was shocked & felt bad, anger with the MOD in Mind for a moment after seeing it.

Reason for the 1st Infraction : "Rule Reminder - Racist Comment"
Lesson Learned : Not to post any racist comments

A Good Lesson Learned & After that, I'm very careful on posting comments till now The Good thing is I've not received any infractions for such commenting / posts.

Second Infraction on Sep 14, 2013 : Its a Second Time! but 1 more left to BAN - Imao! It really Pisses off & I started to study the forum rules.

Reason for the 2nd Infraction : "Thread Bumping"
Lesson Learned : Not to BUMP threads right after the other within 24 hours, we can BUMP by quoting messages.

A Good Lesson Learned & After that, i'm very careful on BUMPING any of my BST's till now
The Good Thing is I haven't receive any infractions for Thread BUMPING.

If i receive 3rd infraction within the same Year, I Might get very close to BANNED! I'm So LUCKY! & Survived here

(4 Years) LIFE Goes on with No Infractions.

But

Suddenly, I recently received an Infraction on April 3, 2017, It's my 3rd Infraction, but very 1st in this year & it expired on the day itself

Reason for the 3rd Infraction : "Offering to buy in a thread that is not a sales thread"
Lesson Learned : Not to Offer anything in a thread that is not my sales thread.

So, A Good Lesson Learned now & After this, I'l be very careful...

@ManyOnes who gonna receive infractions - Don't get upset or feel Bad or Anger - Just Thank MOD who given you infraction.

In this Moment, I thank all the 3 MODS again who given me a Infractions, You Guys are the reason for the lessons i Learnt! Thanks a Lot

P.S : Some People keep infraction things private: Within U & MOD - I'm also the kind of person, but now Sharing it to the BHW World, Because of the Following 4 Reasons in mind


The 4 Reasons :

1. "prevention is better than cure"
2. "Forget what hurt you, but never forget what it taught you"
3. "Everything happens for a reason - Live it, Love it & learn from it"
4. "Some Lessons can't be taught, They Simply have to be Learned!"

I might add more points / reason - I think, Its enough
That's all in my mind for now..!

I'm just messing with you. It's good to see that you're not getting infractions for the exact same thing every time. As BTB once told me, we issue infractions to "keep the ship sailing in the right direction".

I`m not a racist myself (The person starting with "I`m not a racist myself is usually a racist), but those damn naggers... AMIRITE ??

BHW is quite tolerant when it comes to punishments and you got to get on to the nerves of MODs or other members in open threads to get an infraction. Just have got one till now and that was really dumb of me to get that one after 5 long years in the forum.

I got one Warning for sharing Udemy 100% Coupon code course for one of bhw seller only lol lol lol xD
But I apologize him and gave the cost of that course

It was way back in 2015.

I'm lucky I didn't got any infraction but got 3 warnings of rule reminder & that too by my 2 best buddies in bhw. I've lot of respect for them being so good friends, still they value their position and gave warning.

I have got 8 warnings till date for insulting other members, the last being 2 years back!

I'd just like to remind everyone to keep the following rules in mind:

In other words, I don't want to see any posts like these in this thread:

1. "So-and-so mod gave me an infraction"
2. "WTF mods!? I got that infraction, too!"
3. "Please remove my infraction. I didn't deserve it!"

In regards to the first one, don't mention which mod gave you an infraction at all before this thread turns into an attack on moderators or a specific moderator.

OP, now that I think about it, I'm actually not sure if members are allowed to discuss infractions openly, so I edited the title of this thread so that the purpose of it is to inform new members about following the rules.

Also, don't encourage members to break rules to get an infraction. I had to edit parts of your thread because of this.

1st rule of the infraction system: You don't talk about the infraction system.

I've had a few. Each one took on board and touch wood I don't think I've made the same mistakes more than once.

I try in stick with simplicity -

Don't try to sell anything outside marketplace
Don't insult anyone
Don't piss of the mods or admins

Have you got any infraction yet ? if yes, then just share your experience without mentioning the MOD Names as zwielicht said.
So other member could able to realise without they get any Warnings. That's the point of creating this Thread!

It is the same thing - just different verbiage.

The previous platform called them infractions, this platform calls them warnings.

In fact, I got that doubt too.. So waited for someone to answer. But never expected BTB will answer! Thanks for your presence & clearing our doubts

No, 12 active warning points equals a ban.

You can have 30 infractions worth 0 points and not get banned just like you can get banned from a single 12 point infraction. If you get an infraction and it expires, you're back to 0 points.

Edit: I see why you thought 3 infractions would result in a ban.

Edit: ZMan answered the question.

The Mods do not hop on BHW and look to see who they can warn... that is not the vision or directive. The staff is more interested in seeing that the whole BHW experience is an enhanced one so that we all get opportunities to learn, grow and bank in the internet market industry.
