My first website : beginners autoblog

great inspiration . i am trying to set up a autoblog for the first time now.

8200 pages indexed.

got a search listed on the first page! 9th place but still awesome, not a uber obscure string either. again, really didnt do any SEO at all till now. have about a dozen in the top 5 pages according to google webmaster, still seem to be shuffling all over the place though.

clickbank hops are climbing too, about 1/day now. still no conversions tho

the adsense drought continues :( it seems to have started when i changed from a spammy looking theme to a nice clean one...
ive heard people say thats pretty common though. needs some tweaking.
still getting good traffic, and a consistant few hundred new followers a day.

started working on adding some basic SEO now. did some keyword research and added some more long tail seeds into wprobot instead of just one extremely broad topic.
playing around with some internal links too.

Its a great success story for a beginner. I must say I'm really impressed. Why don't write couple of unique articles for all blogs and you'll notice more traffic to your website.

Anyhow, I wish you good luck with your blogs - autoblogs :)

Any chances share your keywords here? must be some very nice keywords that rank without backlinks.

I've got a feeling that once you reach 100$, Google will BAN you!

the whole point of these for me is that they will be 100% hands off once set up.
that said, how much boost would one or two hand written articles really make? (thats an honest question not a rhetorical one, cuz i dont know). my noob gut feeling is that they will just be swamped out and lost in the dozens of auto posts a day...

i never picked keywords. this is due to a combination of being a beginner and not knowing how, and following the original shezblog method which aims at very broad and general "topics" rather then specific keywords. again, twitter is the main traffic source here...

Great stuff...keep it going. Autoblogs are great, all you need is good backlinks and a decent spinner (sometimes unspin works well too)

im making alot of tweaks because of your autoblogging thread thanks :)
if i were to get scrapebox for example, what sort of backlinking would you suggest? still a bit overwhelmed with the whole thing.

should it be just aimed at the homepage, or the inner pages that are getting hit with google queries?

should i just fire at anywhere i can get posts to stick, or targeted similar topic blogs?

ballpark how many per day?

have the same question here :D

Interesting, great break down too. Will be following the thread if you continue to update ;)

Hi,
I want to ask how many auto post did you set for a day?

Damn, great work! I'm trying it myself and haven't earn anything yet =/ I'll keep trying though

What a lovely post. Really great read. Now back to my newbie autoblogs. :D I may have some questions in the future!

end of the month update:

xev6H

was really hoping to break the $xx.xx hurdle but was a day short. next month!

the CTR continues to be in the gutter so im moving back to the previous theme and continuing to tweak ad settings.

page views continue to soar with the new sites gaining twitter followers, if only i could get my eCPM up i would be a very happy camper...

have about 9000 followers total now. one account got suspended randomly, no idea why. the next purchase will need to be some private proxies for tweet attacks i think...

12,000 pages indexed and climbing. SERPs continue to bounce around seemingly randomly. google webmaster data for the second batch is just starting to come in so that should be interesting to see

N36lD

amazon and clickbank continue to be giving a lot of hops with no conversions...
the number of hops is growing right in step with the page views though so that is encouraging.

so in a nutshell, im getting good at pulling in traffic but need work on getting clicks and conversions.
