My first serious blog.

I built a blog a few months ago and added a few posts. Unfortanately, I dropped it for about two months. I have reinvigorated my efforts. Now I have 30 posts with over half of the content being totally unique. I have been getting more inspired because my page views jumped from 10 per day up to 70. Currently, I have monetized it using adsense and clickbank. My adsense earnings are approaching the ten dollar mark. I have done zero promotion whatsoever so I feel like I am off to a good start with the amount of visits I am seeing.

Please check out my blog and offer any pointers you can, such as ad placement and so forth. I appreciate any advice that you can give.

Nice Blog, i see you put a lot of effort in the Style. Also your Banners are SEO stylish .

at NYKlance, no you cant, but you can build it in your Theme.

Well just keep on writing.

I personally think you should only place one leaderboard ad below the banner. The other two should either be in your sidebar or inpost.

Thanks for the comments on my blog. Yeah I will switch the adsense around. I am using SEO20s stopword tool for spinning articles. Most of the content on the blog is unique though. I think I would like to go back and add some images in the posts.

You can have adsense display within a post I have done this before. I am trying to remedy a low CTR. I got 80 uniques today, 70 yesterday....things have been picking up.

Made adsense changes to the blog. I think it will help things along. It definitely looks less spammy.

Looks better, I'd also change the skyscraper in the sidebar to make the background and border match the same dark blueish color the sidebar uses.

Anxious to see how your CTR improves, keep me posted.

This is a question that I am going to think about for awhile. I really should have self hosted but I built this blog before getting serious about it. Poor plan but I'm happy with the performance so far. I will be making more blogs that will be self hosted.

Yes I am working on manual backlink submission. I haven't started any social bookmarking yet, just a few blog directories so far. I just want to get a few backlinks a day if possible and not try to over juice it.

Alright guys, I just want to give an update on my progress so far. I have been inspired and motivated by this forum and the feedback here to push farther. I have submitted to many directories, I have stumble liked everyone of my articles and have begun commenting on other related blog. The results have been near immediate. My visits have increased 50%. I am making some change in adsense already. No clickbank sales but that is okay.

I am going to keep on keeping on becaue I had 120 page views before I even got out of bed today.

Using blogger don't make your blog unserious. I have a blogger account and it gives me more than $13 daily.

So I got my first .gov link today through commenting on the Veterans Affairs website. I just hope that they don't notice the content that I copied, enchanted and pasted into my blog. Also concerned they might just remove my comment.

Traffic was 195 visits yesterday about 80 today so far.
