My first serious blog.

Nice work! Nothing wrong with using Blogger. I use a shitty host called "blog.com" and get 70-100 hits a day lol. It's more about the topic, content quality and post frequency than who hosts your blog. IMHO of course...

Today, I have decided to pull the ads from adsense of my auto blogs. I no longer believe in the sustainability of autoblogging. I think it's a great concept but it is a dated techinique that will cause more trouble than what it is worth.

Still getting good visits at the Veterans Blog. I've made roughly $8.00 this month since refocussing my efforts. It's not a big payoff but serves as a little bit of encouragement to keep on going.
 
Nice blog :). Is placing Clickbank ads along with Adsense allowed by Google :O ?
How did you add site map to the blog ? Did you place the code at the bottom or in body html ?
 
Okay, so my visits have leveled off a little bit but my CTR rate has increased a few points. So I guess this means I am getting less but more quality visits. I seem to generate 1-2 clicks every other day and I have been seeing some slow and low earnings. I have to say that I am very pleased with the results so far but I have to take my efforts to the next level. Then I need to start a new blog.

Google just deleted all the blogs that I published on blogger. They were all using an article stopword "enchanter." All that work is gone!

Big bummer...
 
Lesson learned indeed. I will not enchant articles with any new "revolutionary tool." I will not blog on blogspot because that's like pissing in Google's backyard. My shitty auto blogs that earn nothing are still around because they were self hosted.

I have two keywords that I am sitting on from cyberzilla. I might order two more and bulid four micro niches next week. Some of the keywords are insanely boring topics that will be difficult to write about...but no pain, no gain I guess.

What did you do to get your blog shut down?
 
I use Enchanted Articles not for sending to Article Directories but to publish on my own Blogs. And there it still works well. All my Blogs (7) are visited by Google in a max. Gap of 5 minutes.

If you use them for sending to Directories you'll have the problem that the Title is used for the URL and Enchanted Articles contain forbidden URL chars.

I like your blog ... it's interesting , the presentation is good and appreciate the use of color. The thing like the most unlike some other blog it is not cluttered with two many pics which will surely attracts users. Wish you best of luck
 
My blog was restored. It went down for a day and back up. Earnings are at $35.00 so far. Working on the next blog/website: technologynewsmagazine(dot)com
 
I like it, maybe too many adds in between the posts though. If I were you I would change the header ad to make it look more part of the website (same color) and make it right above your post so it somewhat tricks people into thinking it is part of your website.

but i helped you out a bit and clicked 2 ad's
 
Alrighty...thanks for clicks i guess. I checked yahoo site explorer and I have 500 live backlinks. I did allot of manual blog commented. Scored a .gov and .edu backlink here and there. I haven't started social bookmarking yet.
 
i have checked out your blog and i agree with them it is good. maybe you should change the leaderboard ads with a 300x250 text ads. it is by far the most bankable ad size with adsense.
 
Thank you I will make those ad size changes. I need to adjust the design because when I place ads below the header graphic it causes a black bar of separation. I will make the change right now and you will see what i mean. I need to take a look at the inline styles and html.
 
yeah. and you should make the theme color a little bit light, so the readers won't feel gloomy when they are reading your posts. (this is only a suggestion, the decision is still up to you) :)

I manually comment on similar blogs that are in the veteran, mental health, and etc niche. I get several visits a day per placed comment. I have a twitter account that I am just starting to build too. I only have 300 followers though.

I don't mind manually doing backlink work. I just put on some tunes, smoke a lil chronic and backlink away.
