My first day with SB

So I watched some of the youtube videos and read a ton of the forum help. I ran some stuff last night just to get a feel for it and tried also to optimize my connections etc.

My first "real" run of trying to capture an AA list based on the videos by looplinescrapebox went like this -

Scraped proxies from internal sources and a few external everyone knows about. Ended up with 167 proxies in less than 10 min.

Scraped keywords from google based on one keyword two levels deep and ended up with about ~110 keywords related to my niche.

Harvested my urls and after removing duplicates got 8118 urls.

Fast posted with generic info and a dummy url, got just over 3200 successful in about 40 min with my connections at 150 and timeout of 90sec.

Checked all links and got about 50 or so links found which I then removed duplicates and trimmed to root.

Harvested that list with the site: operator and got 1048 links.

Fast posted that list and ended up with 344 successful posts.

Link checked all those links to end up with 111 in my "AA" list.


I know it is not one size fits all but does this seem like a pretty good capture? I used public proxies for all of this but will use privates for posting when I put a real url in. Also I only had Google engine checked this whole time, does that have a big impact or is it enough?

Thanks everyone for your insight and help, I am enjoying the *** out of SB so far and hope to provide some services in the future. If anyone would like a real url blasted I'd be happy to try it out instead of wasting dummy urls every time. BIG UPS to BHW for all this knowledge!

But I can tell you in regards to the proxy harvesting of SB I think it is great. If optimized correctly it is very quick. I harvested and scanned almost 5k of proxies in under 10 minutes and got 167 out of them. But once you start using them, and others using them, they do start to die. One of the best things about it is you can add your own sources also. There are quite a few sites that offer daily proxy list as well as some here on BHW, which you can then check if they are working in SB. Check out looplinescrapebox videos on youtube about proxy scraping. Good info there.

UPDATE: Also as a reference on public proxies dying, I had 167 and after all this I still have 41 up and running for now. Not a bad deal I say.

Those videos by Loopline (aka Matt) are awesome! Everytime I am not getting the result I think I should be getting I just bring up his youtube channel and find the right video and figure out where I am going wrong. The videos are probably the biggest lifesaver to me just getting my feet wet using SB!

I couldn't agree more. I literally just bought Sb last night and was doing all of this by morning thanks to his videos!

Ya no problem. I just mean that I went to keyword scraper and typed in one keyword, i.e. weight loss. Then click scrape. I only checked google for keywords so as an example say you get back 40 keyword suggestions, I then transfer the 40 back to my list and scrape that list also. Then I wind up with say 100+ keywords. I haven't tried scraping much after that because they become to repetitive. Hope that helped!

Just an update with my list from today. Used the link extractor on my list, then blog analyzer. Ran the post and link check again. Combined all my links found files (3 total), removed duplicates and now I am left with 305 total AA urls for my niche.

Have you ran the pagerank on those urls? Are you getting sites with any?

Ya but I have gotten quite a few N/A's, but a handful of 1's and 3's also.

Ya, sb is a huge help in automating these tasks in huge numbers. The tool has so many features it was the first tool I knew I wanted to buy.

That was some of the results I got as well. However, tonight I am going to go 2 deep on the keywords because I got 24,000 sites scraped off of about 69 keywords and only 3 URL's that were AA. I was able to parlay those 3 URL's into about 200 AA sites that the comments were approved on.

Maybe I can double up on the AA list going two deep.

Nice man, if you were able to pull 200 off those 3 I think you'll get great results with one more kw scrape. Let me know how it goes!

The crazy thing is, and I know I am sounding really noobish because I am, that I got those 200 AA sites after it scraped about 1600 pages from the 3 urls.

That sounds like a pretty good number to me for a little bit of work. I will definitely keep you posted on my other successes and failures. Thanks!

that's actualy good for your first SB day. You'll find out in a very short time that there is much more to SB then it meets the eye.

Ya scraping the pages really helped my numbers also. And us noobs gotta start somewhere. I think were on the right track.
