Yeah my boy keeps the fishy's gills wet so I can bring 'em home. lol

I guess I am kind of a sucker too. I bought one service a year ago just because of the live chat. It felt like I was dealing with a regular person, instead of a 13 year old internet hustler. I can tell you that after this experience I will never sell anything online again without having Live Chat. It's that big of a deal maker, at least to me.

Yep, to the general public. Using fairly optimized PPC. I have a good bit of PPC experience, but I know a real pro could help me a lot with it. That's on my "to do" list. Thanks!!

Day #30 Update

This update is just about the focus of this journey- site #1. The shopify sites are both on pause for the weekend because I have way too much stuff going on (wedding, reunion, family in town, blah blah).

So site #1 is really the focus. It's why I made this journey thread. In the first 30 days I managed to get it to the second page for the primary kw fairly easily. Until just now, I had spent a total of $28 on it primarily buying socials, cheap pbn posts, and some spam. The anchor diversity is pretty extreme. The on page seo is ok. It's a parasite that I am trying to rank in local search for one of my offline businesses.

So.... I was waiting until today to do something. It's obvious to me that without doing anything else it was just going to chill forever on page 2. It has been pretty stable there for a few weeks.

The initial plan was to buy some kind o expensive PBN posts to it today. But... the guy I found that I want to buy them from has paused taking orders.

So..... I have been reading this page and wanted to give this a shot. Basically it involves building a shit ton of 2 tier 301's and spamming the hell out of them. I LOVE this idea, so I figured, why not?

So today I spent what felt like forever making 20 301's on 5 different sites (tiny.url, ********, bit.ly, ****** and kwel.me). Then I manually (this sucked so bad!) made a second level of 301's with most of these same shorteners. I didn't count the final numbers, but I guessed I ended up with around 100 second tier 301's.

I combined all of the first and second tier 301's and placed 2 orders. Both had all of the 301's as the url's. I also made I'm guessing 100+ kw's varying from the primary kw's, LSI, and randoms.

I went to Marc in this thread and placed one order for 10k mixed spam ($6 or so). I also placed an order for 100k comment spams with him ($15). So I spent another $21 or so today, bringing the total or this site to around $50.

Marc told me earlier that he would give me a fast TAT. So I really expect to see movements this coming week.

So the plan now is to chill until at least 4-17-16. I am honestly expecting this new spam to push me to page 1. I'll be kind o pissed if it doesn't.

If it doesn't, I will 100% buy some $$$ PBN spam on 4-18-16, regardless who is open for business or not.

Not a lot to update really. The orders to Marc went through. So I am really just waiting to see if they make a difference. I can't imagine that this much spam won't do anything, but time will tell I guess.

It was so painful creating those 301 tiers. It really sucked. I went ahead and bought 301 Nuke which makes it a million times easier. I really love this little tool!

I'm thinking about buying GSA now as well. Still need to think about that.

On the next update I should be deciding where to go from here.

Quick update just on the site that this journey is for...

So I am seeing some movement. KW 1 has been very stable in the serps at around #17 for a long time. It has been on the second page for a long time. It has bounced to the 3rd page, which I think is a good sign.

So the plan was to wait until tomorrow and then decide, but now I'm not sure.

Question: Should I wait another week and see where this dance ends up?

What happened did you site climb anymore? what have you been doing in terms of backlinks?.

I got the frickin' flu a few weeks ago. It knocked me on my butt. I just started coming back online a couple of days ago. I even missed over a week of my offline job which sucked. But all is better now. I still have a lot of congestion and nasty stuff in my chest, but I feel a ton better. I'll be ok.

I will be getting back on this journey this week.

The site is basically still sitting where it was, sadly.

I kind of consider this a fail. The point of this journey was to quickly spam a pretty easy term/page to page 1 in the serps.

Either I (a) screwed something up or (b) found out that spamming doesn't work very well anymore or (c) haven't waited long enough.

I think it's (a). I don't know....

The plan from here is to go ahead and get some big links pointed to it from $$$ PBN's or maybe even some SAPE. I don't like this though because I already knew that I could buy my way up the serps. I wanted to get there cheaply quickly. Oh well.... I will buy some big links this week.

On the Shopify site, I have had to put it on pause these 2 weeks as well. Man, I lost some good money over this flu crap!

On the positive Shopify side, it is climbing way up in the serps. I spammed the shit out of it and bought some $$$ PBN links before I got sick. That is paying off.

I have been getting quite a few organics to it this last week. People have been calling/emailing/live chat ticketing me on it from organics, but I haven't even responded yet. That is really good news!!

I will likely buy some more $$$ links for it this coming week. If I could climb the serps with it soon this could be a real game changer.

I ran some numbers of the Shopify ad spend/revenue and my ROI was just over 500%. If I could mix in a bunch of free organics, wow....


That's it for now. I'll get back on track this coming week. I have some money to spend on this journey now. I just need to do it.

Not much to report everyone. I have been REALLY lazy. I am still not 100% from the sickness, but I'm getting back into things.

This primary site is still in the same basic position. I promise to order sape/pbn links for it this week. For the hell out of it, I'll GSA blast the shit out of it too this week. This is a promise for this week!

On the shopify, I have started taking orders again earlier this week. All the traffic to it now is organic. I haven't started the ads back yet. It is getting some pretty good organic traffic that is really converting. I am still shocked over it. On the first day back (since around 3 weeks) I made $1,050 from the organic traffic. That's all profit/zero expenses. That is scary encouraging!! This week, in total, I have made around $1,700 or so on it from Monday through Friday. I seriously need to put a lot more of my attention on this.

My issue is my real job. I can't just walk away from it. I spend some 10 hours a day on it, and I honestly no longer wish to work 80 hour weeks (I'm "old"). So I just dabble here and there online. I do have my little boy helping me a bit with shopify, but.... I don't know. I can continue doing it here and there and make a bunch of fun money, or I could truly start to get serious with it. I truly believe that I could profit some $3k + a week doing it on somewhat of a fulltime basis. At that point, I would have to at least consider it.

Additionally, I see a lot of other angles to take on my shopify "niche". I could easily have 6 or more stores running. Food for thought.

I promise my next update will be better with a lot of mentionings of spamming the hell out of the main site!!

Don't wanna be a party pooper, but i don't think your keywords will ever get in the top 5 (or even the top 10) - EVER. Either the KW comp is too high (don't count on what any software tells you about the competition) or you need more links, powerful links (expensive links).

agree 100% use ahrefs find all of your tier 1's from them and pop them into gsa. Find out what your competitors are doing from ahrefs by looking at their backlink structure and see if you can get backlinks from the same sites.

Day 62 (??) Update


Jesus... it's been over 2 months since I started this? That sucks! That's a fail in my book, but I guess I am learning as I go along. This may be the slowest churn and burn ever?? My only excuse is that I lost 3-4 weeks due to the flu. Meh... on well.

Some good news (to me) is that I have now finally fully recovered from the sickness. I'm back into full swing again. This is pretty good timing because I need the income. I have had A TON of really big unexpected expenditures in the last few weeks (2 major car repairs of some $6.5k, a lawyer bill for my father in law's probate of some $2.2k, a cruise that my wife SUCKERED me into for around $3.3k, etc., etc.). I need to make some money!!!

I'll get back to more formal updates next time, but my total expenditures now is around $155. Why did it go up $102? Beause I ordered this PBN package from Rankspire here. It's 30 home links. The price before the standard beg for a discount coupon was around $150. I decided to go with him because I have had some good results from him before.

I honestly believe that this will push my primary kw to page 1. I sure hope so. To attempt to make sure that it does I am also ordering some more 2 tier gsa spam. I am also using some advice and blasting some of my tier 1's that are showing up in link tracking tools.

This better work!!!!

If it doesn't I think I may say screw this/spend some serious money/cry/bitch.... It's gonna work (I hope)!
