My First CB Website

Well done for taking action!

May I ask what niche (general) it is in - i.e. health/MMO/self-help etc?

Best of luck for more sales,
Mancar

Thought so :) Targeted health products convert best and they are evergreen, meaning you'll keep selling the product year-round, not like MMO ones that sell well for a few months and then die down. Also, if you pick a quality product, refund rates should not be an issue.

Any updates on how you're doing mate?

Mancar

It's in the health niche! :)

MMO products definitely are often like that. They then get dropped along with all support, and ready for round-2. It usually doesn't matter if you're in the MMO niche though because you probably are list building, not micro-site building. There are some evergreen MMO products though.

I hadn't made any new sale for a good time, I guess due to CB update. But after an email of them apologizing for the troubles they've generated — I've started selling again! :)

So as it seems it's the beginning of better times for me! I'll keep working on this site till it reaches at least $300/month and then flip it.

Btw, I've been playing around with SEO and have fixed some HUGE mistakes. This guide helped me very much in the process: http://www.seowargames.com/on-page-seo/guide.pdf Basically I de-optimized some of my pages and as a result they have won better positions :)

I'm just curious,do you have a review type site(with review wordpress programs)?I for the life of me can't get a grasp of this affiliate marketing thing BUT I want to have atleast 5 affiliate sites running while I do my ecommerce.I get clicks randomly on some of the products I "promoted"(I barely did anything)but still not understanding enough to where I should just go full out and give my 100%.I hear people say make landing pages which I assume I should buy a domain and hosting for but then I think how would that even rank and wouldn't it be better to get a niche targeted site and have multiple products on it instead of just making it a landing page.

No. Basically I have a site that's about the niche I'm targeting, with tons of useful info. At the end of every article I put an AD that when the users clicks on it, he gets redirected to my review page.

On my site I can promote virtually anything I want to, from this CB product to Amazon products. I'm slowly implementing amazon btw.

OOH Ok,kind of like article marketing.

People have always suggested that health niche is good to start with but from what I've been doing so far, when it comes to keyword research, almost all that I found have keyword competitiveness above than 40, with authority medical sites taking over the top 10 rank.

For keywords below 30 keyword competitiveness, they seems like not good keyword to choose. So how do you tackle this? Or I am yet to found the golden nugget?

You have to keep digging! For example, there are some sub-niches in health that are quite approachable (like the one I'm using ;)). And on the other hand you have very hard niches when it comes to SEO like Sciatica.

First select a sub-niche in health that when you search some keywords 1st page is not filled with authority sites.

Nice man, you are making sales and that's nice. You'll make a lot more sales once you get ranked for the KWs, you should keep focused on the SEO part and I know you will earn a lot more ;) Keep it up and keep us posted about the updates :)

Sure! I'm working on getting those bad boys ranked higher haha. I'll update when something interesting happens!

Your site stat is nice. Good luck your sales mate.

After CB fixed that issue, I've come back to my usual rhythm of a sale every 7-10 days :)

Now regarding SEO, just like I said in my last post, the secret was this ebook: http://www.seowargames.com/on-page-seo/guide.pdf

I'll be renting some PBN links from a friend of mine, who's network is the real deal. Right now I'm receiving 8-10 visits a day, so if my guess is correct, once I get more traffic my sales will rise up too. Let's see what happens :)

I also changed my website theme to a lighter one. I'll be working at my siloing, because it sucked.

Congratz on your success, it must feel good :)
Keep building more backlinks and you'll be doing 3-4 digits per day in no time!

Thanks for encouraging words! :)

I'm running a rewriting for most of my articles and I'm adding 3k+ words of extra content. Also I'm building some backlinks from expired tumblrs. Let's see how it turns out.
