Hey, folks, I just want to share my stats before I got my account suspended. Maybe it will help a few of you who are trying to make it on facebook (hard!)

I created an account with a fake real-sounding name and used a virginal (@gmail) email address.
The date of birth was 7 October 1970 (fake).
I have a real accoutn I use to login to facebook but I may login like 3-4 times a year, at best. Incredibly rare and exceptional.

I made 2 posts and a branding profile picture, background image and about section. All organic and images I made myself.

Plan A was to go over to the marketplace and spam a fancy message to sellers.
The text was ALWAYS the same and, honestly, a bit lengthy.

[21:34 14/10/2022]
I send the message to 5 sellers in my real vicinity.
Nothing happened.

[20:11 10/12/22]
I sent 15 messages to sellers in my country's capital city (not in my vicinity).
These weren't direct PMs. I used the "request seller for more information" form.
Perhaps mistake, but I don't think it would be all that different any other way.
Facebook hits me with this:
"""
You've reached your limit
Because you're new to Marketplace, there's a temporary limit on how much you can list and message. We do this to help build a better community for buyers and sellers.
"""

Tough. The messages that were still being sent were all stuck with the white circle, no checkmark.
This means people wouldn't even see them if they logged in and they never did.

[Feb 28, 2023, 18:19:15]
I follow and post the same message on 11 different related groups.
BAM! Suspended. Facebook claims I violated their Community Guidelines for not being "my authentic self".
The e-mail:
"""
Your Facebook account has been suspended. This is because your account, or activity on it, doesn't follow our Community Standards.

If you think that we suspended your account by mistake, you have 30 days to disagree with our decision. If you miss this deadline, your account will be permanently disabled.
""""

"you have 30 days to take action."

They asked me for a picture of my face so they could verify my identity. Fuck that. I gave up.

Could it be the SPAM? It was very minimal. Could it be because I used the same computer as my real account?
I hadn't accessed it in months.
I logged in to to my real account and everything was alright, not even a notification.

Anyways, fellas, make what you will from this information.
Anyone who's trying to make it on FB, good luck.
I'm off to making a new account and making sure I don't go over 10 posts+follows a day.
Some posts here and on Quora recommend that.
