About 90% of page owners have the same problem. Deal with it.

The current reason behind this it now when you click on an external links from facebook it will be redirected from facebook servers and it takes times to load to get redirected to other websites so people skip it to stay away from hassle.
And if you send a link to someone on chat and he clicks it to open facebook asks for a confirmation whether they want to go ahead with the external link or not.
This could be the new issue fan pages are facing.I could be wrong though.

Interestingly, a few days ago my 400K and 28K fanpage actually INCREASED in reach. For my big page: I used to average 500 to 2K reach per post. Now my links average between 6K - 12K reach and the photos get between 500-2K likes with a reach of 9K to 30K.

For my smaller page, I went from 200-500 reach to 1-3K per link.

I'm not sure what happened, but hopefully it continues. Most of the time in the past, my reach was always being reduced.

Mine is also down in all my pages.
I post like 12 links daily and 12 photos, for 1 week was very good, now it is TERRIBLE!. I dont know why it is like this? 1 week staying good, and after 1 week just everything is terrible. Does anyone knows the reason?

You are posting way too much...better slow down..before they gonna mark your posts as spam.3-4 times daily supposed to be.

Beside IMHO Facebook is killing the small page owners. It is time to monetize our pages better, but rather it is time to leave FB and do something else.It is a matter of time until almost everything will be paid.

i tried it on fb chat but likes works well , i do not get any confirmations !

I have also faced the same problem. I think day by day Facebook is becoming a paid platform. Facebook is providing more facilities for paid ads.

My traffic is down too, but only on half of my pages. It's rather strange. Any ideas?

This is because of confirm like buttons.. if u do any BH tricks.. there is many factors why this can be.. :)

I dont think that's exactly right.
Imagine your facebook timeline in, say 2-3 years - all filled in with only paid ads, all this marketing bullshit - who would use it then? It's like watching a TV where there are only ads.
I guess people will still need to see from the posts that their friend's got drunk and their famous celebrity has shaved her legs.

i think because too much fanpage/group ---> consider if all fanpage/group is showed in your newsfeed? so the good group/fanpage is not down :)

Lol welcome to FB.

One of my pages which is about 600K had reach of about 100-150k tops, now around 10-15k :(

One thing to consider -- and this doesn't address the reach problem -- is that traffic from people using the app can register as direct traffic. So if your social referrals have gone down, your direct might be going up.

Also -- never do any geo-targeting of your posts. Edgerank looks at total engagement across all your posts compared to your total liker count, so if you deliberately limit reach of a post (which will limit total engagements of that post), you're going to lowering your engagement score, and you'll get even less reach the next time you post to everyone. This does not apply to paid promotion of posts.

thisis affecting everyone , even big pages. Facebook wants everyone to pay, its the new reality .
