everyone,
I was running successful Facebook ads for my online Yoga and Ayurveda services targeting US clients.
2 months ago, my CPM was low, CTR good, and I was getting quality leads. Suddenly, everything died—CPM tripled, CTR below 0.5%, almost zero leads.
I tried fresh creatives, new ad accounts, but no improvement.
What could be the main reasons? Audience fatigue? Account reputation?
Any ideas to recover performance?
Thanks in advance for any tips!
Sounds like you've hit a common wall — here are a few things to consider:
Audience Fatigue: If you’ve been targeting the same interests/lookalikes for weeks, performance often nosedives. Try new angles or broaden your targeting (e.g., Yoga → Wellness, Ayurveda → Holistic Health).
Creative Burnout: Facebook optimizes toward winning ads fast, which can exhaust audiences quicker than expected. Even if
you think it’s “fresh,” Meta might’ve overserved it. Rotate ad styles (UGC, testimonials, reels).
⚠
Account Health: High negative feedback, low trust scores, or flagged creatives (even old ones) can silently hurt delivery. Try running via a clean BM or partner account and see if CPM improves.
Algo Shift: Meta quietly updates its algorithm all the time — and your niche might now be classified under “sensitive health,” which can hurt performance. Try compliance-friendly copy/images.
Tracking Issues: Any chance you’re missing conversions due to iOS 17, browser blocks, or pixel issues? Lower data quality = worse optimization.
Test This:
New BM + new page (not just ad account)
Broader interest targeting + lead form instead of website
Add UGC-style creatives with real voice/testimonial
Monitor ad feedback score in Account Quality section
