Well, it's been nearly a year of DS'ing from Amazon to eBay. Although I've done ok from it (enough to pay the bills), I've decided to add my thoughts and experiences in this niche.
I was using a couple accounts that started off as unlimited, and my MO was to scrape thousands of Amazon listings and have them up on eBay.
Some of the negatives that I've encountered are: ending up with temp listing bans ranging from 3 to 30 days. If DS is your sole income (and your main account), then this can throw a spanner in the works. You can get temp bans for: selling VERO, copyright violations, and selling banned/prohibited items. I was getting so many temp bans, that I created a bot to filter all the crap, but it's difficult to do this en masse. You will find that eventually your ac will get limited (ie your sales with be throttled).
Another issue you'll face is dumb customers, so be prepared to spend time emailing back and forth.
You may also find that your Amazon Prime ac gets shut down, so be prepared for that also. Try not to keep too much funds in Amazon, as you may lose it.
You will obviously need to pay for things like: eBay/PP fees, eBay store subscription, price checker, and to pay for Amazon Prime, so it can all add up.
The only way to avoid all this is to spread the risk with several accounts, but this can be a nightmare to maintain (not to mention the crap with PP re 21 day limits, etc).
I received another temp ban this morning, so I've decided to give up on this venture and look into other money making ideas. It just isn't worth my time and effort.
