Hi guys before I write this I just want to say these past few months have been my first stab at IM so is in no way an experienced opinion....

I started the IM myself for my business after I looked at the enormous costs from UK suppliers with no guarantee of return. Sounded to me that the guy was charging me to build a house, but he wasn't sure if I could actually live in it once it was finished!

I done my research, was lucky enough to get pointed onto some good tutorial videos (which I know are AF but still the info is worth the money for the info), got myself some tools in the shape of Scrapebox, UD, GSA and Kontent machine.

I have gone out and got the hard work done....unique articles, spun, respun to 80% uniqueness all sitting ready to go. I can use scrapebox to harvest the URLs I need. I can set up GSA to bomb any tier 1 links I MANAGE to get done. Kontent machine fits in with GSA ok.

My problem is with UD. When I am scraping with scrapebox, I am getting a huge amount of results for even just one keyword using the massive footprint available here. So as meant to, i drop this list into UD to check for places to submit. This process can take up to 10 hours in some case!! and from 10,000 results per harvest we may only be talking about 100 or even 50 new sites. This seems like a total waste of time and I am 99% I am doing it wrong. I have read online however that some guys are running 2 copies of UD, one for confirming sites and the other for submitting. If this is the most efficient way to use the software then surely it is not really that good if you have to buy two copies?

I identified the problem (I believe) by my footprint being too large, I need to focus on Web 2.0 only sites for tier one, so I need to have a web 2.0 only footprint that I can use to gather the needed results.

    So.
    1. Have I identified the problem correctly? If not, where am I going wrong?
    2. If so, does anyone know where there is a special "web 2.0" only footprint I can use? Note that I am not 100% informed of every web 2.0, so for me, if I need to gather this myself, I am assuming I need to find a list of the best 2.0 sites, and then gather a footprint for each of those named sites, correct?

Any opinions on this would be greatly appreciated. The last time I gave up a month ago and it took me a month to come back and attempt it again. 2 days of frustration now so I have written this to see if anyone can save me from further stress!

    Thanks in advance.
    Beers on me.

Dear OP you said ""10,000 results per harvest" " - Are you sure you are using proper footprint as well as are you sure that you are having duplicate domains etc filtered properly.

Also so far i remembered UD having option for increase of threads to speed it up of detection also option for what type of sites you want to import you shall make sure that you are using all this and if any of these you are missing it may be the reason bro!

You have GSA. Use GSA and select the platform you wish to post to and adjust the settings that you need/want (PR requirements etc) and run it using some fake/dummy domain and collect all the "verified" urls.

Take those urls, load them into scrapebox and "trim to root" and remove duplicates.

Take that list and load it into UD.

    Easy Peezy.

Well I can think of one session I completed recently where I had 10,000 urls after being trimmed to root and then duplicates removed. Thread speed is up to max but it still takes ages to cycle through each entry and identify its type.

Gyuman that is very clever I never thought of that! Is this your regular method? If so what should I be using scrapebox for mostly then? (if you want just bullet and I will research may be a stupid question).

Ok so update on this, I am using GSA to run links on WEB 2.0 only but in a half day I have less than 10 results. Does this mean there are not 2.0 websites for my keywords? I have even duplicated the campaign with a 4 level deep keyword scrape and still poor results for web 2.0

You probably need to load more keywords in GSA to find targets. You should be using hundreds/thousands of keywords for what you are doing.

Also don't get caught up on "relevant" web 2.0s

Find high PR quality targets and you'll be fine.

As to your question, I do use GSA to help me scrape targets not necessarily for UD, but for all software. You can use it to scrape AA article directories, social bookmarking sites, forum profiles etc. pretty much anything on there.

For me I primarily use Scrapebox for mass blog commenting. (Tier 2)

I know a lot of people use it to "find quality sites to post comments on", but I don't waste my time with that. If I need a high PR link, I'll use a private blog network or a paid source.

Aint got time to wait for comments to be approved! lol :)

I prefer UD to senukecxr,I know it's not everyones cup of tea but it works well, reg updates etc.

Anyway there are not many web 2's you'd want to post on and being honest these should be done manually for the first tier then maybe fire some on auto to the manually created ones

These are the better ones(think this from phpbuilt's list),look for phpbuilt's web 2 list.UD cannot post to all web 2's and you want the higher PR web 2's which UD posts to most of them fine.

Also your title is misleading, the error with you not UD.If you put in web 2 footprints you're just going to get a ton of sites come up but ultimately only one web 2 at root so you've wasted your time.

If you buy UD Full price its like $350 and when it was discounted it was around $300.

So I think that for what it does - it's way under-priced.

You can scrape up new sites as well as the built in ones - it handles proxies / captchas and allows you to spin text and manage accounts.

Is the Site Detector perfect or does it post to a tonne of platforms ? No - but the developer adds new platforms all the time - Doc Sharing for example.

So yeah you maybe disappointed by a few things -- but show me any Software for $350 that handles what this does.

Suck it up -- work with it - and get the most out of it ... my 2 cents.

Gyuman...for me relevance is not important at the moment, just for UD to accept some new sites would be nice! BTW What other tools are you using in your arsenal, if you dont mind me asking? I have been sitting with this combo for a while now and not really getting anywhere with it, maybe i need to change.

CloakandDagger...thank you very much for the list, just what I am looking for. But perfect example of how I feel about UD, I just put that list into the system, 1 success, 88 sites undetectable no suitable plug in found. So this means that UD cannot handle these sites, correct? I think the title is correct, yes there may be user error here but the software still does not do what is says on the tin IMO, as displayed here.

Danny - For me, it would have been easier to pay someone in India $350 i probably would get more submissions done!!

Mego....is what I am thinking mate.

If anyone can point out my mistakes so that I can use this software correctly then I would really love to get some more. Any more advice available?

Why you need ultimate demon when you have GSA? Its support most of UD feature.. You dont even need a scrapebox to scrape for a new site list.
