Hi guys before I write this I just want to say these past few months have been my first stab at IM so is in no way an experienced opinion....
I started the IM myself for my business after I looked at the enormous costs from UK suppliers with no guarantee of return. Sounded to me that the guy was charging me to build a house, but he wasn't sure if I could actually live in it once it was finished!
I done my research, was lucky enough to get pointed onto some good tutorial videos (which I know are AF but still the info is worth the money for the info), got myself some tools in the shape of Scrapebox, UD, GSA and Kontent machine.
I have gone out and got the hard work done....unique articles, spun, respun to 80% uniqueness all sitting ready to go. I can use scrapebox to harvest the URLs I need. I can set up GSA to bomb any tier 1 links I MANAGE to get done. Kontent machine fits in with GSA ok.
My problem is with UD. When I am scraping with scrapebox, I am getting a huge amount of results for even just one keyword using the massive footprint available here. So as meant to, i drop this list into UD to check for places to submit. This process can take up to 10 hours in some case!! and from 10,000 results per harvest we may only be talking about 100 or even 50 new sites. This seems like a total waste of time and I am 99% I am doing it wrong. I have read online however that some guys are running 2 copies of UD, one for confirming sites and the other for submitting. If this is the most efficient way to use the software then surely it is not really that good if you have to buy two copies?
I identified the problem (I believe) by my footprint being too large, I need to focus on Web 2.0 only sites for tier one, so I need to have a web 2.0 only footprint that I can use to gather the needed results.
So.
1. Have I identified the problem correctly? If not, where am I going wrong?
2. If so, does anyone know where there is a special "web 2.0" only footprint I can use? Note that I am not 100% informed of every web 2.0, so for me, if I need to gather this myself, I am assuming I need to find a list of the best 2.0 sites, and then gather a footprint for each of those named sites, correct?
Any opinions on this would be greatly appreciated. The last time I gave up a month ago and it took me a month to come back and attempt it again. 2 days of frustration now so I have written this to see if anyone can save me from further stress!
Thanks in advance.
Beers on me.
