Hi all, Let me first start by saying that I have been with HG for over a year. All of my business/Internet Marketing connections use HG as well. I am a website developer and I refer every customer that I get to Hostgator is they do not already have hosting. Now, I had my customer go through my affiliate link and it came up in my CJ account that HG extended the payment (which is normal because it's hosting), so I had to wait 45 days for a payment. Right before the payment was scheduled to lock in, Hostgator reversed my commission. So, I then call HG and they escalated my ticket and they asked for the domain of the person that I referred in. I gave it to them and they replied with "This customer already had a pre-existing Hostgator account". Now, how is that possible when she didn't even know what hosting was until I told her about it? It is a small amount of money that I WILL be getting from Hostgator. I will keep you guys updated, but this is ridiculous for this to even occur. Any other stories that you guys would like to share about your HG experiences are more than welcome in this thread. Perhaps, a discussion can be started. Good luck to you all!
