IMO you need to post the satoshi prices because you are buying in BTC and not in $. The $ price is not important because most alts dont have a $ trading pair ( although LTC BCH and BTC do )
A 10x in $ is not a 10x in BTC ( a 10x in BTC is way more )
Bottom line if you buy in BTC focus on BTC
If you buy in $ focus on $
Yes Jack, agree with you but remember I have liquidated my BTCs back to fiat a week ago. I have to convert back to BTC so my base currency is USD currently. I need a common denominator to measure my portfolio.
you are doing full time IM ?
I started off with IM full time before diversifying into forex trading (extremely high risk) and then to physical brick and mortal business. And now to crypto trading. I am still doing IM but this industry has change alot. Nowadays it is really difficult to make 5 digits income daily (only very limited people are still able to do this).
Not that it matters but I believe OP is male not female.
Also I appreciate this thread so I agree with stopping with the irrelevant replies.
Hmm... not that gender matters. But I am female. We are all professionals, look at my ability and not my gender,ok?
Holy Christmas people. The OP, a successful trader, is giving you a list of coins and prices she bought in on AND a plan on when to sell. Let’s not focus on that but instead of the quantity and dollar amount invested in each.
I don't think this amount is a lot of money as those that got in last year during the crypto waves easily make such amount of money. I am not smart but just got lucky.
I don't think MCO could down to $7. Just bought it at 11.7$
Well I don't own MCO but that is the target price that I hope I can buy. If it don't fall to that price, it is fine as there are always trading opportunities elsewhere. No need to rush.
and point of this thread is?
Point of this thread is to document (as previously I received feedback that I am not contributing and simply come back to comment when x crypto has went up in value) though I did mention my buy price but it was hidden within other threads through reply.
Next objective is to discuss with fellow traders (not investors) and exchange trading ideas.
From Technical Analysis point of view, it's likely that you are more inclined to the case that BTC will not drop further. I am interested to hear your thought about it if you want to share.
From the chart we can see that BTC is getting buying support from the price range of $9k-$11k. Sellers are not selling more so selling pressure has so far eased for the moment. And next it is almost month end where short seller would be covering their short position so my theory is that there should be a technical rebound shortly. With this two info, I make my decision to trade long for BTC.

@zionbar clearly hacked your account!!!¡¡!!!
Very funny.
You're a trader right honestIM? Will you have a certain target in mind for selling already or move a stop-loss up behind the price when/if it rises?
There's so much caution in the market at the minute and quite low volume making me think it's a decent time to make some buys, a range of cap sizes to help mitigate against the market not picking up in February. It's interesting to see what other people are doing so thanks for posting.
I think you mean profit taking target? Well this is a trailing stoploss meaning it will move as the price appreciate positively towards the direction that I am anticipating. When market is caution, time to get greedy. When the market get greedy, time to be caution. Isn't this what trader should be doing?
And to answer the question on time frame, it is simple, opportunity cost. If I cannot profit (or take my losses) within 30days, I would be better off moving the funds and trading other asset class. I am a trader, velocity of money is important metric to determine how much profits I make. Not percentage of growth in asset value terms.
