My credit card keeps getting stolen!?!!

I am not sure if the option is available to you, but you can use single-use VCCs for internet transactions.

I use VCCs for all my online transactions. My real credit card is used just for Paypal, nothing else.

If you don't have much data on your hard disk, I suggest you format it.

There is nothing safer than reinstalling Windows from scratch.

its funny how they keep taking my money from my credit cards, and not my money from my paypal.... btw scanning is almost finished and Malwwarebytes detected 1, AVG found nothing so far. I will update you guys as soon as theyre both finished. Thanks for everyone with suggestions.
 
Don't run antiviruses, save up what you need then format everything.
 
Yeah probably RATted. If they use good encryprtion and hid it well, I doubt you will find much :S
 
I think im still going to system restore my computer but i'm scanning to see what was infected.
 
crypted zeus botnet maybe? Just scan your pc with malware bytes and if it won't help just reinstall windows
 
okay, so both AVG and Malwarebytes both found a trojan horse.

This is what Malwarebytes and AVG found.

can someone explain what this means? Im going to delete these files...
 
Just deleting the files will not solve the problem your computer is already infected. Please try the TDSSKiller I posted and see what that returns that can fully get rid of rootkits that may be hidden as system files, from my experience AVG and Malwarebytes can not find rootkits and I had a similar virus problems I ran TDSSKiller once that got rid of all the rootkits that had already hidden as system files and then I installed Kaspersky Internet Security and ran a virus scan got rid of the viruses and have had no problems ever since.

When I just used AVG or Malwarebytes even Norton antivirus I noticed after deleting a few reboots later I had the same problem the virus / rootkit was hidden away and just restarted its main file to take me back to square one after a few reboots.
 
I had the same problem with my bank account.

Ran every program imaginable. Norton, AVG, Avast, Adaware, Reg Cleaner, I had several Trojans, File Droppers and Keyloggers. ( ex flatmate liked teh pr0n and fucked my PC up! )

I restored my PC to factory settings too. That stopped it.
 
If you dont want to whipe your drive....

Rootkitscan your PC like a maniac, run a antivirprogram your choice (whatever you prefer... Just DON`T use microsoft essential. Trust me), Malware Anti-Malware (scan the shit out of every single drive you have). Also create a Hijackthis logfile and go to an expert forum (Forensic/Security) and ask for help and upload your logfile.

However, if you want to be on the safe side...
Whipe your fucking Hard drive.
 
It dont matter how many different things you use to scan, your best bet is to reformat.

Paypal will help you if someone is logging in from another country IP and its easier to get that money back.

This is why I always use a fake credit card number when I register to sites before I actually want to buy anything. If anyone tries to use the number for nasty things I don't get bitten! Now there's nothing to do but next time use a fake card if you're just registering and not buying. Sites like getcreditcardnumbers do the trick
 
Sigh. Microsoft essentials? Come on. Install Avast free, get yourself malware bytes. Call your credit card company, your going to have to get it reversed and sign a few papers at your bank. If your lucky, they may have just been testing your card out and the processor might not actually accept it. You will have to wait a while for it to come back though if they use someone like authorize.net.
 
You have a keylogger or a stealer

Reinstal Windows + Good Antivirus (Nod32 or kaspersky) My recomandation
 
Get a firewall try comodo over windows firewall. After you get it fixed.

Agree, agree, agree. Restore or remove the scumware enough to backup needed files, then reformat the hard drive.

This would be the best thing, because from what you said earlier that it is a backdoor trojan, there is only a couple variations that it can be (including keylogger).

There are several ways to clean these off but because of the seriousness in the fact that they are stealing your money, and the fact that you are not too experienced with virus removal, you will be better off with a clean install. Remember to download your network drivers and save them on a disk or flash drive though if you still haven't started your install, and good luck :)
